Thank you so much for the congrats. I'm still exhausted as we were carrying a big stone to interview (actually my bf carried it but I got sore legs from walking....) and I can't believe I've got approved. I will probably believe it til I get back my passport haha!

Heather: I'm the second April filer got the visa. Peluche should be the first one they got it on Sept 11, 2008. I can't wait to see you tell us your interview date! Happy birthday my dear, you dream is coming true very soon and your beloved is gonna be with you forever soon!

I can finally start to go around to look for wedding stuff and I need to resign soon and our plan is getting married before Dec!

Seems like all of us got the approval already right? Should we create a new thread for AOS later or keep this one?

Anyways, about the forum. I suggest we keep this one for now and let's wait for the rest of april filers to approved and be in their interview date as well. It's fun tracking down everybody with their progress. Then we can make an AOS forum in a few months. What do you think?

Anyways, we got a letter fromm NVC last week. And our case was forwarded to USEM already. Phew!

When I first came into this topic. We're still at the 5th page. It's so nice to hear from a lot of april filers their agony in waiting and their happiness receiving their approval. This is a great bonding indeed. Not to mention haviing new set of friends.

And who knows... will make a big party when we all get to US this year or early next year!!! Yipeeeeee!!! What do you say about that?!

I just love this forum... I love VJ for helping me get through all my tough times with this long process. I've been through my ups and downs. But I'm so blessed to have such a wonderful people supporting like a family. Thank you everyone for being so kind. God bless us all!

Hey guys, I have a couple question you all might be able to help me with..

How can you tell if your interview location has received you visa application stuff, we received a letter over a week ago from the NVC saying our stuff was heading to Vancouver but havent received Pck 3 yet, and would love to check on the status as we got held up in NVC for so long Im a little nervous...

Secondly, How are you all organizing your stuff for the interview, In a binder or in Folders... I currently have everything organized in a binder and page protected(Yeah I said Page protected im a nerd), but Im not sure this is the best way for the interview. What do you all think or plan on doing ?

I have started to put mine together. I have them in flexible binders, and things like chat and email records I have printed double-sided (trying to be green..haha). I only have about 1/4th of chat records and this log is about 1 1/2 inches thick! (and it's double sided). I have 3 flexible binder - one with chats, one with emails/phone records/travel records, and then another that's a photo album - and that does have page protectors. The other 2 binders don't.

Same here. I put everything in a flexible binder. I even practiced bending them into circle and imagining the hole size of their glass window. Lol! Just making sure. I think I might reduce my photos to present. It's a bit thick. Lol!

You click MY CONTROLS in the upper right area of any Vj window you opened and it will direct you to your profile. Then once you're in your control panel. You scroll down and click EDIT SIGNATURE that can be found on the left side area under PERSONAL PROFILE. Then you can start editing your timeline from there.

Let me know if you need to anything, okay?

You should start calling NVC by now. I'm pretty sure they already have your case now. Some April filer with the same date with you, called the NVC already and that NVC received their case. I already called NVC for my case but they said they haven't got mine yet. So we will try again tomorrow for follow-ups. I'm sure it'll be there tomorrow. It's should be there by now or something is wrong.

I know its hard but just be pleased that you have your approval at least! Im still in the waiting room, been crying to my fiancee for a good hr about it all, in limbo not knowing when ill have an approval. I would give anything to be in your position right now

You know I felt the same way when I was still waiting for my NOA2. It was even worse. Aside from crying... I ended up having a big arguement with my fiance over nothing. I made a wrong diversion with my anxiety. I got paranoid. Lol! I couldn't sleep normally, I had a moody appetite and I don't want to go out of my place anymore.

But as time went by... I got really mad and I burst out my feelings here and I'm so glad that there are so many nice people that helped me through my frustrations. It helped me calmed down and have more patience. I'm very grateful I am here in VJ. If not, I would be probably be giving up already. So I ignored my email for a while and went out. Spent my time with friends and shopping. Lol! Then as I remembered it was Sunday morning when I finally opened my email again. And there it was the CRIS email. Got my NOA2 finally!

Just please have more patience and have more faith than what I had when I was still waiting for NOA2. It will come eventually. VJ family will be here for you all the way. Cheer up sweetie!

Angel, your best bet would be to go to the Regional forums here on VJ and check out the Philipines thread. Make sure you read the sticky topics at the very top and look for a Philipine guide from Sheriff Uling. He spells it all out for you very simply.

I noticed that your process is very fast indeed and I'm happy for you. I wish you all the best as well with your upcoming wedding day! I'm sure you'll be a wonderful wife and he'll be a great husband to you. It's funny that since we filed our petition. I've been planning our wedding already. I just want it simple. Not too fancy. Just a small wedding. Because I want to renew our vows after 10 years and that time we will have a grand wedding here in our country :-)... *crossing my fingers* Lol!

You know what's weird??? I was so excited and impatience waiting for my NOA2 to arrived before... But when I got it, I was happy for sure but it wasn't an adrenaline rush, over joy reaction thing I felt. It was like, oh! I was approved. Lol!

They sent it thru email saturday but I found it the next day. I wasn't able to open my email on Saturday because I thought it'll still be next week. Lol!

You know, even if how busy they will be processing with lot of petition. But still we deserve something better than their inconsistency. I wouldn't end up being impatience if only they would tell what we need to know. It's a long wait and the longer it takes for us to wait. We get anxious and emotionally stressed out. I just hope they would be more accurate for those who are still waiting. Because somehow if they're accurate with their answers, we feel more assured and it's comforting. It takes a little of that burden of waiting. We became impatience sometimes because we want to be with our love ones as soon as possible. I went through frustration a little bit because of this process. And I hope CSC will move their asses fast now. Holiday is over.

For those who are still waiting for their NOA2... Please hang on in there. It will come. Just stretched a little patience for this one. We will all be over with this long journey. Good luck to all of us!

I'm sorry about my timeline. According from the USCIS operator that they sent out papers to NVC the same day they approved our NOA2 which is August 29, 2008. But when I checked my status online at USCIS. I saw that they still touched my paper Sept. 01, 2008. So I don't think they sent it the same day. I think they're lying about it. I think they exactly sent it Sept. 01 already.

I'm also confused about how they're dealing with our papers. Because some was approved earlier than I am and we have the same date. I got mad at their system as well. Aside from their inconsistent answers when you called their hotline. Their system are inorganized as well. Like for example. When my fiance asked them what date are they processing lately. They would say that they're processing April 14 filers but then the next day I got an approval of my NOA2 and I am an april 25 filer.

I really hate how they tell people. They don't even care on our feelings that we need to hear what is the real score.

I was approved after they came back from holiday. Mine dated August 29 and received our hard copy Sept. 02. The same day they approved my NOA2 they sent it as well to NVC but we have to call back on Monday to follow-up if our packet arrived already.
