No, I had to get a number for the Help desk. I went through the 1-800 number and waited until I got a live agent. They gave me the number for the help desk. I think the help desk number was 1-202-838-2200. The customer service number was 800-375-5283. I hope that helps.
Great info! Thank you! 💜

Do you think Emma can reset the code if needed? Or was it difficult reaching someone from helpdesk?
Good question🤔

I never receive the second letter. I had to call the help desk and they reset the access code and gave me a new one over the phone. I could see the letter with the original access code in the documents section. I guess it just never made it to me. I keep seeing people looking up their file and seeing that it was "touched". I am not seeing anything like that. Th last time it looks like my file had anything done to it was September 5th when they uploaded a couple of my scanned documents. So frustrating!!!
Thank you for responding.

Dropping by to say hi 👋 and happy we are already 3 months into the wait 😆 How is everyone doing?
Hi🙋🏽♀️, Linos! All is well on my end. Thanks for checking in. How are you?
Do I need to be expecting a separate letter in the mail for online access? I don't see anything (except the receipt) online to give me hope that our package has been touched at all. 😔

Did you receive your hard copy yet? I'm waiting on mines as well. 🤷🏽♀️

It's just a notification. Did you submit G-1145? https://www.uscis.gov/g-1145 "Use this form to request a text message and/or email when USCIS accepts your form." It's been reported that they sometimes don't notify via email. The email from Do_Not_Reply_Lockbox@dhs.gov says something like:
I filled that form out and sent it with my package; that's how I got a text from them. I was just expecting something in the mail and/or mailbox. The text from USCIS did say that I'll receive an official notice in the mail.

That's just the notification with your receipt number. NOA1 is the actual letter from USCIS.
If you filed by mail and submitted form G-1145, then you are supposed to receive a notification via text message.
Ohhhh... Thanks for the clarification, Chancy. I appreciate it.

Don't worry about it ❤️ Did you file online or with paper? It is a nerve-racking process!
I went the paper route.

I filed paper but when uscis received my application they converted into online. And sent me instructions to setup the uscis account with a code.
Ohhhh...I guess I need to be a little more patient🤷🏽♀️.

Is this only if you filed online?

Ok. I'll just go with receipt as well then.

Yes, i am a canadian citizen just recently got matried to an american in the usa. We've been together for a year and we have a lot of proof of our relationship. But we don't own anything together. As i am a canadian citizen, i can't live in the usa until i am legally able to. So we don't own anything together as of yet. Can i get a joint bank account with him as a canadian citizen and ect, or have my name on the lease of a home in the usa? Our marriage is long distance until i can legally live there with him. So my question is what can i use as proof since we are long distance, primary proof as you have mentioned would be having joint ownership ect right.
I'm in the same situation (he's in Antigua and I'm a US citizen) and I've been all over and I've also called around. It seems as tho he has to be physically here to do things. I tried adding him to my bank account but, he has to call himself to talk to someone so, that is possibly possible. I physically went to 3 banks and they all told me that he has to physically be present to open his own account. I'm not sure what info he will need bcuz we haven't been able to call as of yet. I've spoke with my utility companies and they aren't able to add him bcuz only 1 person is allowed to be on the account. They can add his name to the mailng part just not on the actual bill. It's a lot...🤦🏽♀️
