I requested to expedite on Friday and my status is "expedite request has been received." How can I find out which number I should fax the supporting documents?

it took 5 days for uscis to send you an email to request for further information. They sent an email in which the fax number and reference number was mentioned.

You can call to check the status, it took us about a week to receive a acknowledgment email about the request and another week to be approved and then another week to be contacted to schedule the interview, took about 1 month to get my husband his visa

    thank you very much.

Will try to call them again sometime next week.

    Good luck with your case!

Thank you still very helpful! I submitted my expedite request on 2/28/2020 and currently waiting to hear back

    Hello,

    Thanks. Very helpful.

I just made my expedite request for I-131 yesterday 03 Sep and I got a tracking number from the officer I talked to (T1Bxxxxxxx MSC). Not even sure how soon can they approve the expedite request. My online status on uscis website is not updated yet as of today 04 Sep. Do I need to do a follow up call to USCIS ?

Hi, you can call them and request an expedite processing but they will most likely need your biometrics first. You can also contact your congressman for help. I see you are in Costa Mesa, CA like me and I worked with Harley Rouda’s office (there is even a federal agency help form on his website) and they helped me get it approved but still waiting on biometrics for the card to be produced. I hope this helps!

Thanks very much. Very helpful. Will reach out to Harley Rouda's office.

Early last week, my case status on USCIS website was updated to 'READY to schedule an interview'. Not sure what that means. According to some sources, it usually takes months for them to get an interview date scheduled.

Any good news about your AP approval?

I filed my I-131 together with I-485 and I-765 in March, my NOA1 was on April 14th. When did you file?

I did ask, but she wouldn´t let me do it. She said I would just have to come back.

I filed I-485 and I 131 in early April. I got two NoAs both dated Apr 16. But received only one NoA for biometrics. Biometrics done on 10 Aug. On 13 Aug, online status was updated to 'ready to schedule an interview' . No news since. I guess it's gonna take several months for them to actually schedule an interview.

Hey guys! I have my biometrics appointment on Friday, the 14th of August, in the Washington DC office. On the invitation letter, it only said biometrics are for I-485 and I-765, but not for I-131. I know that EAD and AP come in a combocard, but recently I´ve seen people post in Facebook AOS groups that they had to go do Biometrics twice. Is this actually a thing? In my mind, it makes absolutely no sense.

Also, I plan on taking a trip inside the US soon. If my second biometrics appointment is while I´m gone, and I reschedule it, how long will the rescheduling take?

    Thank you guys!

I got my biometrics done last week for AoS. The invitation letter didn't specifically say it's ONLY for I-485. Never got a separate appointment letter for my I-131 and it's been nearly 5 months. All my bio data is already in the system. So I just assume, they will use it for I-131 too.

What is your filing date for I-131?

Thanks. OI tried to call USCIS customer service centre and never had a chance to talk to an officer. It's always the machine answering and they do not seem to have an option for expedite request. May be because I still haven't done the biometrics ?

Could I ask how long did it take with expedited process?

Every EAD is processed at the NBC. It's not fair for them to have that reputation since every case is processed there and for that they're doing quite ok 😉

It's probably not going to happen that you have your card in hand by the date you want it too even with an expedite. An attorney can't do anything at this point. If one tells you different don't believe them.

You can simply call the helpline and ask for an expedite. If they find you have a good enough reason you'll get an email telling you to fax them evidence for your claim and they'll make a decision upon that. Even with an expedite they have 30 days to make a decision and after that the card needs to be produced and shipped to you ( this part is taking quite some time recently).

Thanks! Just to clarify, I do not work here in the US nor apply for EAD. I have a job overseas and I am currently on unpaid leave. The idea was to apply for the adjustment of status, get the AP and go back to my current job while waiting for the green card approval. I need to come back to US for the interview and other things as necessary. Once approved, I plan to live here permanently.

On expedite request, I tried to call USCIS customer service centre and never had a chance to talk to an officer. It's always the machine answering and they do not seem to have an option for expedite request. May be because I still haven't done the biometrics ?

  10.  Hello,

submitted my advance parole application together with I-485 adjustment of status application in early April. NOA dated April 16 was received. Biometric appointment scheduled on August 10. I will have to make an international travel latest by 15 Sep for some work commitments. I am hoping that my I131 application is approved in time.

Does anyone have any luck getting advance parole approved in 4.5 months time?  My processing center is MSC-National Benefit Centre that has a reputation of taking a long processing time.

How can request USCIS to expedite my I-131 application? Or is it worth hiring an immigration attorney who can help me with this?

    Thanks!
