Oooooohh! Got it! Now I know. Always wondered. Since they seem to have a working system now for conducting interviews, I imagine I will have at least 5 months validity left on mine. I’m actually in the FB-1 category so I won’t be getting an interview date before December 31 (re the presidential proclamation 10014), and the NVC usually schedules you a month in advance of an interview.
Go get that passport quick and do your thang!
Will do lol cause this process is crazy lol

That’s great news!!!! 🎉 🎉🎊🍾💃🏾 Congrats! After a long wait, the joy is indescribable; I’m sure!
How long did they give you to leave the country? Or is it only dependent on your medical or police record validity date? I’m trying to ascertain whether or not they give you a date to leave by or if it’s only based on the aforementioned documents.
It's depending on your medical date ... I did my medical in September so I guess I only have 3 months leave since the medical expires in 6 months .. I haven't collect my passport back as yet .. because the weekend came in after my interview so I an still waiting

Well Giys I am so sad and not confident anymore. After I wait so long lastnight I realise I have the wrong transcript. They are different type of transcript. The one my husband gave me is the wage and income trancsript instead of the tax return transcript. He ask me the first dsy he gave it to me to ensure is the right trancript. Now my interview is in 2 days and I will be getting a 221g. At first my husband try to get transcript online but the system didnt recognize his information. He then asked irs for them to mail it to him. But is the wage and income transcript instead of the tax return transcript. I'M STRESS OUT RIGHT NOW. SO YOU ALL PREPARED FOR ME TO GET A 221G.
They didn't ask me for nothing... carry your w2 and 1040 and explain your way out if they don't ask don't bring it up simple

Well guys i was hoping to come with better news my husband visa was denied due to his medical showing substance aka marajana, his visa is on hold until September 2021..he said he told the lady he stop smoking since August of 2019, she told him he can't be around anyone that smokes..he said at first everything was going well before she even told him he has to be out of the country by January 2019 because his medical was going to be up and even given a domestic violence paper..but i guess has she went scrolling into the medical section everything changed..am very devastated to say the least..i never saw him cry but i did today..best of luck to everyone..
Wow ... sorry about that .. I had people around me that smoked and I ask them to move when ever they do .. I had this one stubborn friend that always choose to smoke when he comes around me and I cut him off completely because he didn't care for me not liking it .. the smell of weed/cig hurt my head and tummy

Hi everyone,
My daughter went to the embassy yesterday and all is well. I am overjoyed. So does anyone knows what happen afterwards as in I think I heard about a fee to be paid before she entered the US is this so.
I think that's after you pick up your passport and if I am not wrong I think you can pay that fee even after you enter the U.S I am not sure but I know someone who said they did so

So after 3 years of marriage and a year of processing finally got my interview today ... my DQ date was june 16 my original interview date was September 23rd .... my interview time this morning was 7:30
While I was waiting in line outside I notice they took picks from everyone in the line except for me .. they did even take my ds260 conformation page the only thing was taken from me was my original interview letter and the reschedule one and was staple together along with my passport .. the lady type my name in the tablet she had in her hand and told me to keep my belongings.. when I finally entered the building I got a paper with a number and was instructed to sit and wait for my name inside while others was waiting outside to me it was weird but I did as instructed.. after about 5 minutes of waiting I heard my name I went to the window where I was ask for my police record original only my marriage and birth certificates.. I was also ask who was filing for me and what's her name .at that same window I did finger prints and then was instructed to sit and wait again.. while waiting there was a woman and her daughter interviewing rite infront me i could hear everything. I sat there for about 15 minutes from the starting to the finish of the lady and her daughter interview .. Then I heard the guard call my name sending me in a single room for my self I was wondering what was happening since everyone was at the windows interviewing but I kept calm I swore and took fingerprints again then the lady started asking the questions
Who is filing
What's my wife's name how long have we known each other ..when last did I see my wife told her Sunday because my wife just left ... she ask how often she comes to see ..
Then she ask where do I plan on working in the U.S. when in answered she told me that's a good job and I should do it then she continued
What job dose my wife do and her job position
She ask me how do we communicate Dailey I said (whatsapp instagram )
She ask to tell her about how we met and when did the relationship got serious
She then went on to ask if I ever travel before have I ever been arrested or convicted then she ask if we had kids together .. if i have a child and if my wife had a child i told her yes she asked his age i was answering questions before they ask she didnt even get to ask his name .. then she asked who asked to get married I told her it was me then she ask me to tell her bout the wedding who was there and how many people were there ... after all that she ask to see wedding pictures I took out my photos .And she skiped through about 6 out of the many I had and stop and ask who was the kid in the wedding picture I told her then she said congrats she had everything she wanted and I was approved😢😢😢🙏🙏🙏 gave me the domestic violence manual and told me to have a safe travel ... she kept my passport and told me to look out for carrier service to contact me when it's ready for pick up .. I was out of the building by 8:00 🕺🕺🙏🙏
It was alot of questions for me .. but the CO was very nice 💞👍
NOTE: nothing absolutely nothing was taken from me no transcript no biography page no nothing only the original certificates and they were given back once I got approved
Good luck to everyone that has pending interviews I hope y'all can learn something from this ... a know what you going to answer... be confident and bold and also respectful also. She tried to confuses me once with the year lol asking me if I said 2005 🤣😂😀 tricks are for kids .. I stop her and corrected her but I was kinda confused as to what year when she did that ..😂 so I took a little second and then answer .. but other than that it was a exciting interview I'll update y'all once I get my passport back ... I am sorry for the long message.. I just like to talk in details ... Good luck guys 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏❤❤

Good day all,
Our interview was this morning at 8:00AM.
Upon arrival documents requested were the original appointment letter and new appointment letter, 2 passport pics and passport.
Inside at the first window, marriage certificate, birth certificate, citizen certificate and police record(s) were taken. My husband had a police record from Jamaica and Trinidad.
He waited for about 30 mins for the CO to call him for his interview. He was asked:
-The name of the petitioner and petitoner's daughter.
-Where does your wife live and with whom
-Questions about his previous visitor's visa application and why his wife wasn't listed as the person of reference
-Petitioner's previous joint sponsor Affidavit of support (I was a joint sponsor for someone in 2018)
-He was also asked to show pictures, mainly non-wedding pictures and they looked at our call log he provided
-Now, the CO began explaining to him that the document he presented as his Trinidad Police Certificate was not the original. They went back and forth about the validity of this for awhile, but unfortunately, my husband brought the letter referencing his police certificate BUT left the original certificate at home by mistake.
This is something he and I went over several times including Sunday and last night. I specifically reminded him to ensure he had the 3 documents sent from Trinidad for the police certificate and he assured me had it.
With that being said, they kept his passport and issued a 221g for the return of the original police certificate via courier service.
Let this be a lesson to you all not to take for granted that you have all the paperwork. Go over the interview checklist, double check, triple check and make 100% certain of this. Check again the night before your interview.
Do not allow there to be a delay on your case for something avoidable and within your control. We are in control of the documents we bring to the interview and how we answer questions. Hone in on that control because we cannot control how long it takes for administrative processing and I know none of you want to be in this predicament. I prepared with my husband mutiple times yet, he still faltered. I am disappointed and upset to say the least but, this too shall pass as I know it's something we can address and overcome. We are now preparing to tackle this obstacle.
Anyway, sorry for the long text. Pity VJ doesn't have VN, but that woulda long too LOL.
Bless up everyone, I am still rooting and praying for us all 🙏🏾❤Hush yah 🤗 just a little more time ... 🙏🙏

Hi Guys
Finally i had my interview yesterday. DQ was June 18 and first interview scheduled on Sept 18 and got rescheduled to 24 Nov at 8am.
Reached embassy at 7.30 am and completed all screening process without any issue.
Front desk gave me the token and entered the waiting room where they have collected Birth certificate, marriage certificate, PCC and Tax transcripts.
Exactly 9.00 am , the consular called me and she is more friendly and guided me with the interview process.
-Who is filing for you?
-What is her name?
-When was the last time you spoke?
-What state does your wife reside in, and with who?
-How often you visited?
-When was the last time you saw each other?
-Was there a reason you guys haven't seen since then?
-Questions about employment/position?
-Have you ever traveled out of the country?
-Have you ever been convicted?
-How big was your wedding?
-Was your medical completed, and when?
She was trying to pull other documents from the system and asked me to wait for few minutes.
She took my visitor visa page and stamped it as cancelled.
After few minutes, she said your interview went well and you are good to go now and everything is ok. we will process your visa.
Gave back the Birth certificate, marriage certificate and domestic violation paper and kept the passport with her.
She mentioned You will get an email about the courier details for the passport/Visa. Wished for safe travel and advised to stay safe in US.
No other documents asked and it was quite productive discussion and the consular made more comfortable during the entire interview process.
So, finally i have completed 11 months of waiting period. Currently, in the CEAC portal the status got changed from "Ready" to "Administrative processing". No form 221g issued or any instructions to provide more information nor did the immigration officer tells me that my visa application requires further processing. Hope everyone has gone through the same situation after the interview. I request the persons who have attended the interview to give clarity on the status update from Ready to AP.
Thank you all and thanks for your guidance. I hope i will get my visa back very soon.
All the Best for those waiting for their interview.
Out deh fam ✊✊.. congrats 👏👏💯✔... Love seeing approvals.... done know next week is the big dawgs week lol .. 😩 .?? We going in on em 🙏

Yea but they better make sure they ain't no trace of weed in his blood or else that's a lie and if you lie to them .. that's where it all gose side ways .. so if they are traces of marijuana in his system just tell them you tried it once couple months ago or something like that
