  1. Congratulations on you approval! I was approved the same day. What number were you? Hahaha! I was number 7040...:thumbs::dance:

My number was 5001..I think I recognize you on the day of the interview :D :D Well, if you can remember a woman in crutches, that was me ;):D . Well congratulations to all of us who got an approval on the same day...

Yah i saw you! Well, congrats to us! and hope we get our visa soon!

  2. Try calling Delbros first and see if they have received your visa from the Embassy. If not, try calling the US Embassy call center and ask for the status of your visa...anyways, many of us are on the same sitch. You can read other posts here regarding that issue. Hope you get your visa soon!

I have not paid the visa delivery so I don't think Delbros has the access to it. I was approved for visa pick up. I also tried calling the US embassy call center today, the lady said its still in process. But I did not have to undergo document verification, the consul did not give me the white paper as some of the VJers were talking about. He just told me that processing will take 24-48 hours so I was hoping I'd get it it today since the 48 hours already passed. Should I still call Delbros even if I did not pay for the visa delivery? Thanks

Well i guess no since they will not be responsible for your visa. Anyways, keep on calling the USEM and im sure they'll get tired of answering your calls and will release your visa soon...(hehehehe, joke! Just trying to lighten up things here! :hehe: )

I really hope we get our visas soon...it hard being separated from your loved ones...hay, miss na miss ko na asawa ko! waaaaah! :crying:

  3. Hahahah! I stopped taking jeepney rides awhile back, but once i got the visa, i went and had a jeepney ride, pedicab ride and LRT :D mmmm...hopia in ongpin? (eng bee tin)? i should bring that too and sinigang mix :P I'm sure you'll get the visa soon :)

Mae, it's true, i'm leaving in 4 days time, but i still feel like I didnt spend enough time with my family even if I stopped working 2 months ago. parang kulang pa din :P pero syempre, I miss my asawa na din. It's been 11 months since we last saw each other :P

Yep eng bee tin! Mongo flavor lang. Hahaha! Brought also like 20 bars of Kissa Papaya soap...

I've been waiting for 6 weeks! still the US embassy don't release my visa yet! My interview is been approved! why they take so long to process my papers. I already submit all the documents... Is that because I add my child? :help:

I'm not sure though if having your child join you would slow things up. Are you sure your not on AR or Document Verification? Try calling USEM again...I really hope you get your visa soon!

Same here :dance: I'm still waiting for my visa, I had my interview last march 3, it's been 9 working days now. My fiance called the USEM this morning, he told me that my visa will release this afternoon to delbros.

I am hoping to get it next week ... help us lord :)

Yep! Hoping too that we get ours next week before the long weekend vacation due to the holy week...

  5. I have a few suggestions on ways to ensure that you are able to pick up your visa after the interview:

    * Sing the star spangle banner upon entering the CO’s office

    * Give the CO a lot of flattering compliments (nice hair, cute comb over, etc...)

    * Carry a large sums of cash for Bribery

    * Cry immediately after the first question to get the sympathy approval and visa pick-up

    :-)

    Cheers!!!

    Sheriff Uling

Ah...Mr. Sheriff...i did suggestion number 2 but didnt work...what i got was a DEDMA. But then again the consul was a 'he' and i am a 'he' and he probably thought i was gay or...anyways, got my interview approved though but my visa pick up interview denied...

  6. Yeah i know, but my wife (my petitioner) really misses me (awww...anyways, i really miss her too...) and she wants me to be there ASAP. i tried explaining this to her and you know how you girls are when you want things done, you want it done...hahaha! Just kidding. :hehe:

Anyways, ill busy myself by going to the gym, riding all the buses and jeepneys and trycycles that i can, buy her pasalubong wish list which includes hopia from Ongpin and a lot of other stuff hard to find in the market and yes, spend time with my loved ones.

I'll give Delbros one last call today ok...hahaha! (KULET! :P )

    Thanks!

  7. I had the same case and had my request for visa pick up denied. The consul says their getting strict about that. I believe its a case to case basis...some were allowed and most of the ones allowed lived in the province or was with their USC fiancees. And with the fee increase, well, i think its just worth our 250 pesos to have them deliver it. As of this moment, im still waiting for my visa to be delivered. Hope you get yours soon too!:thumbs::dance:

  8. Guys,

Just got off the phone with Delbros to ask if they have my visa already but tough luck, the embassy hasn't released it yet. :(

Anyways, they said that the Delbros usually receives Visas released by the US Embassy around 6 or 7 PM in the evening on a normail business day. So i think the best time to call them would be once a day every morning...hahaha...

Well, i just hope we get our visas soon!

    Thanks!
