It's crazy and sad..

I have a perculiar problem, I was issued a CR1 visa since march 2020 and it expires next week ( 14th of August) and till date I have not been able to leave Nigeria bcos of the pandemic and my local country not allowing international flights out..I don't know what to do right now.. pls some one help me 

I was at the hospital that the embassy asigns for medicals and also where I had mine done early in the year.. apperently they are having medicals done.. and that means one thing, the embassy may have resumed their phased resumption process and will hold interviews asuch.. so be hopeful and check your mail and span from time to time.. good luck and you will get to meet your loved ones soon..

Since you have attestation of birth you are good to go.. when you get to that stage upload that as your birth certificate.. 

Thank you for all your response and I really appreciate it.. I got this in the mail last night and the embassy here in Lagos keeps modifying their mail..  now in this mail they said in the paragraph that Only U.S. Citizens and those who already have U.S. Legal Permanent Residency (LPR) status, also known as a green card holder, are allowed to book a ticket for one of these flights.  All other immigrant and non-immigrant visa holders are not eligible for these evacuation flights... 

for Cr1 visa holder are they eligible For the upcoming flight from Lagos to the us on Ethiopian air comming July 16th and 23rd? Bcos this mail blow I got in my mail says only lpr and citizens are allowed .. my questions is having a cr1 visa would not be a problem at the port of entry in Washington

Its urgent and the cr1 visa category expires in August.. will they renew the visa based on the fact that covid 19 made the visa unusable
