I went to one in Naperville. Only reason letter even come up they asked me if i want to register to vote. I said. No. Why ? Not a citizen. They were like do u have GC ? Showed it with extension letter. Was no problem at all. They issued standard DL expiration of 4 years. I suppose it depends what clerk you get more than anything.

Then you have to file for a replacement with an I-90 form to correct your GC. It can bring issues if left like that, especially for ROC. CR on the actual green card means “class of admission”, in other words, it relates to the visa category that was used to admit an immigrant to the US. CR1 is used for those who arrived in the US On an immigrant visa that was processed and approved at a consulate abroad.
CR6 is for those who adjusted status in the US. So you need to have that corrected.
I think it's kind of late for that. I suppose i am gonna find out. I have 751 pending already since June 2020 and as of 4 month "we are ready to schedule your interview". Also have n400 pending since July 2021.

If you did CR1 then how come you did AOS? CR1 stands for consular processing and it’s for spouses outside of the US.
As previously undocumented here, did 485 AOS through spouse. Was issued 2yr GC with CR1 on it. I thought CR1 on GC meant Conditional Resident.

What about CR1 class/type on GC ? Is it same as CR1 visa ? Mandatory 2nd interview required ? We did AOS here in the states for being undocumented.

I also decided to be honest about my administrative ticket I went to court for in 2003 (never arrested). Had no records or disposition. USCIS agent told me it did not come up on their background check. Yet, since i mentioned it, they demanded paperwork and disposition before making decision. Went to Circuit Court and they pretty much said i was an idiot, like why did you even bring it up to them ? Had to file FOIR request to lookup any records under my name, none was found (got emailed letter). So, yeah, be prepared for something like that. I am pretty sure they will make me run around hoops to obtain more proof this time as well when n400 interview comes up.

Has anyone received email from USCIS: we took action on your case, but was no any updates under both dhs and uscis website including inbox ?
Got email Friday, as of today no changes. Last I heard was May 2021, we are ready to schedule your interview.

That's lame. Were you K1 or IR1/CR1 who didn't do AoS interview?
CR1 with interview last time. But got stupid citation I disclosed during application i got a while back for city ordinance ticket i went to court for. Noted it on both 485 and 751 again. There was no record and did not even come up in USCIS background check. Was just trying to be honest. Provided them the letter from circuit court though that nothing was found.

My case starts with LIN and I just had an update earlier saying my case has been transferred to my local office. Has anyone else had this happen recently?
I got the same message today for LIN case. Filed 2 weeks ago. I thought it meant it got to Nebraska from AZ processing center, not local where we live. Hmmm

Sent application 2 weeks ago to AZ lockbox, got regular notification after a week, and just today got another:
we received your Form I-751, Petition to Remove Conditions on Residence, Receipt Number LINxxxxxxxx, at your local office.
Does it mean they received it in Nebraska ? Or by local office they mean local office like Chicago, where we live ?
Report receiving 24 months i751 extension letters here please

Is it dated 12/14 ? I also got notification. No status change updates. Probably mailing 24mo extension letters.
