I didn’t receive a physical letter, only an email and I printed out the attachment that included our nvc number off of that email

Hi! So you can’t schedule your interview in DR without the number and NVC will email you that number only when your case gets shipped from nvc to the embassy. Cases get shipped every two weeks so you should be checking periodically to see if your case has been sent. NVC has a contact page that you can use to get in contact with them and request that number since they aren’t answering phones at the moment

From what I’ve read it gets sent every two weeks. We also have a WhatsApp chat for Dominican Republic filers if you are interested.

Did they post an updated table with the correct dates reflected? I created this by just following the dates from last year because I hadn’t seen anyone post a new one but if you have seen a new table please share it so I can include it

Ignore that. NVC won’t issue your interview date. Your embassy will have further instructions regarding your interview process

This is just an estimate of the days they “May” send your case to the embassy. It is not specific to any one embassy. It is for all embassies. This table was created for K1 as this is a K1 forum. I’m not sure about any other category shipping dates

Yes I think it should be soon too. You can get that info most accurately from following other peoples timelines On VJ, FB, IG and from WhatsApp groups. I follow a bunch of lawyers on IG and they always post ppls timelines and what cases are currently receiving interviews. They are pretty good about that we have a WhatsApp group for CR1/IR1 and K1 petitions if you’re interested? We share updates and questions etc. Let me know🙂

For CR1/IR1 about 2 months or so they are currently assigning interviews to ppl DQ March and April of 2022

I agree with the above. There wouldn’t be a difference if you started the DS-160. It won’t speed it up. It’s all a waiting game

I got the white 221G as well but mine was for medical. He needed to do Additional tuberculosis screening. I was in AP for 5 additional months😩

Have you tried both numbers? The English line doesn’t seem to be too useful but the Spanish line usually will point you in the right direction. Unfortunately if your in AP for additional supporting evidence of your relationship , there’s not a real definite estimation for the waiting period. Lawyers might say they’ll move it along but honestly I don’t think they are doing anything different than what your currently doing
