Hi everybody! Looks like May filers are not as active communicators as other filers 🤪 Well, I am writing for the first time myself. Our petition was also sent in May (at the very end of the month, actually), we're still waiting, and I am a bit scared and feel empty at times. My fiance had to come to Belgium in August but yeah it had to be canceled. I hope by the end of January we'll hear something and that USCIS will not adjust their processing time. I honestly wish you all a lot of patience and strength.

Awe I'm so sorry you haven't been able to see each other, it is truly such a hard time for so many!!!

Let us know if/when you hear anything. I'm trying to be on her more often now since hopefully we will be hearing something soon too!

I saw a May approval here on VJ. They are going through April cases fast! March and Feburary noticeably took longer, by a lot. I think it's related to a small number of petitions due to the global lockdown which had started by April.

This news almost made me cry! I am so happy to see May approvals come through. I wonder how long it will take to get an interview though.

Glad to see another review on this. If you don't mind me asking, have you always crossed via YVR? and when you say, it was shocking they didn't ask much, do you mean they always ask alot of questions  ? And I'm assuming when you mention your fiance, they're a USC?

How long have you stayed in the past and if ever, what time of questions do they usually ask since you started your Visa process?

    Thank you

Hey, not at all! I haven't always cross through YVR, sometimes it's Winnipeg or TO.

I think I jus expected a lot more questions because we were traveling together for the first time since we applied for a K-1 and so I had paperwork created by my employer and any evidence showing ties to back home. Yes, my fiance' is a USC.

I used to live in the US for 2.5 years because I was working under a TN but left in April of 2020 and just now entered again.

Feel free to message me if you any questions :)

  4. Hi everyone,

My fiance' (common law) is currently in Canada with me. We hadn't seen each other in 5 months and he's only here for 2 weeks. I've decided to go back with him to California and stay for 2 months, we leave tomorrow morning. I hope there won't be issues with us both going together but I have the following:

    1. K-1 Pending application

    2. Return flight home

    3. A job in Canada

    4. Enough money saved

Anyone crossed the border with their partner?

    @M & T, here's the information provided on the site.  https://www.uscis.gov/addresschange

Expand, "How to Change Your address"

    Hi there,

I tried that but it doesn't make sense for US citizens. My fiance' didn't file online so we can't do it through USCIS online services and then the AR-11is for Alien residents... so I'm super confused on what form or how I got about how he should change his address.
