  1. Ours was 40 days or so after the interview. This was last October. Don't forget to account for the passport time. We had wife's US passport in hand a week later, but could have happened sooner. I recommend making an appointment online at the Passport center downtown a few days before ceremony date, so you go there immediately after (with nat. certificate, proof of travel, photos etc). Our ceremony was on a Friday, next available appointment was next Tuesday. Passport pickup on Friday (they pushed us out 3 days because we didn't travel until Saturday, but they can even do same day pickup).
  2. My wife's estimated time kept moving as well (was decreasing over time down to 2 months, then jumped to 4, then back down to 2, so we eventually learned to ignore it), but the moment the N-400 case hit the processing time limit, and the inquiry form was available, we sent one. Interview notice came 2-3 weeks later, not sure if by coincidence or due to the inquiry. I-751 case processing time was always way beyond that of the N400, despite an earlier submittal, so forget the I-751. it's the N400 you need to watch for and immediately send the inquiry once you hit the processing time limit.
  3. Not West Palm, but we were in the same situation and I filed an inquiry (as we were also outside the normal processing times) and received combo interview date about a week later. Do it.
