Thank you. I spoke to the operator and she said that both names are on the computer and therefore I shouldn't have a problem. At the day of the interview they can sort all of that out. I guess we'll find out more in December.
You wife ask the CO at the time of interview. Good luck.
Please fill in your time line PLEASE.

can anybody suggest me, should we need to file the petitions for unmarried sons over 21 on LPR OR USC, while my father has LPR and he will get the USC after 3 years?
Yes a LPR can file a (I-130) for unmarried son or daughter over 21 years of age. One your dad becomes a USC then he can upgrade the petition and that will be faster.
So let your dad file the petition right away and that will save a lot of time at least 3 years.

I just got married a week and a half ago down here in Georgia. I am from Canada and my wife from here. I will be returning soon to Canada, but my company is looking into sending me back down here to telework from Georgia on a TN visa for a year so that I can be with her. My question is, once I get here and started working on a TN visa, then would I be able to apply for the CR1 visa by filing the I130 paperwork?
Thanks,
Devin.
Once you are in US you can apply for Adjustment of status. It takes 3 to 6 months. I know that because someone in my office did the same in Nov. 2007 and she had her interview in the last weeek of March 2008.

I think we will have lot of approvals in Nov. 2008.
Good luck to you. Did you call VSC. I am just waiting for 3 more months and then I am going to talk to senator Obams's office.
I think by that time his Chicago office will be closed and he will be doing all his business from D.C. Ok then I will have to talk to ####### Durbin's office.
I want to cry but there are lot of people in my office. Let be go to the men's toilet and sob there. That will make me lighter. I wish my office could allow to haev drinks while working.
God bless CSC and VSC.

CSC was supersonic till the end of August. In Sept. they starded processing petition transfered from VSC. Now CSC got the transfered virus from CWSC and is equally sick as VSC.
They need anti virus drug from Dr. Ziwago.

Hello All,
Can some one please tell me how long it takes to make a police report and get it in mail.
First one is the Police Passport Report? How long? Can it be picked up or its just mailed?
Second, Local Police report? How long? Can it be picked up or mailed ONLY?
Also, what documents do they ask for in order to get a police report. Please help us.
Please help
PPC can be obtained from the regional passport office and that may take just one day.
PC from the local police can be obtained from the local SP office or district police office and that might take a while depending upon what part of the country you are in.
You can show a copy of NOA2.

There was a similar case in New Delhi in November 2007 for K-3.
The benificary called the USE after one week of submitting the documents asked for at VFS Jalandhar. She alled at 10:00 AM.
They told her her visa is approved.
Do not worry. Your wife will get her visa within two weeks.
They just want to vefify the documents.
Good Luck.

Eric time to stand tall. Call your congremen and senator office and write to them.
This is another nail in the coffin.
DOS will review it. But NVE always does the name nad security check before sending to the USE in foreign country.
One thing that is puzzling me is what the heck NVC did before sending to USE.
Now DOS will check with their data base.
Your wife will eventually get it but the pain your family will have to beare for no fault of yours...this is unjust.
God bless you.

well i'm one of the few who had been transferred from VSC to CSC and not been approved yet. I had several touches though.
we called USCIS and best we could get out of them is that there was correspondence on October 16th. have not received anything in mail soon. But was wondering if this could be a RFE. So my question is, when there is an RFE does it say that when you check the case status online?
Thanks
Looks like you will get approval soon.
Good luck.

Congratulations and have a happy family life.
Apply for removal of condition within 90 days before the conditional PR expires.

Thanks everyone for your wishes. Brian and I are both glad that the wait is finally over.
I can say that Brian is old enough to be my dad.
The CO are only concerned about our age gap because he didn't asked much after he was satisfied with my answer with regards to our age gap. For those who are in the same situation, I would advise you guys to be fully prepared to answer such questions. Brian and I have discussed about the possible questions that will be asked and the age gap questions has been our main concern.
Nevertheless, we are glad that it's finally over.
Best of luck guys!
Thanks Mel. I appreciate your help.

Your answer lies in the instruction for application for naturalization
Read here.
A person who has served honorably in the U.S. Armed Forces,
If you are at least 18 years old, a Lawful Permanent Resident with at least one year of U.S. Armed Forces service, and you are filing your application for naturalization while still in the service or within six months after the termination of such service.
Based on thsi paragraph thwre are three requirements:
1. At least 18 years of age....your wife satisfy that requirement.
2: A LPR....the requirement here is LPR and a conditional green card holder is still considered LPR. So your wife satisfy that requirement.
3. A person who has served honorably in the U.S. Armed Forces for least one year of U.S. Armed Forces service, and you are filing your application for naturalization while still in the service or within six months after the termination of such service. This requirement is solely depende upon your wife's employment and hope that will not be an issue when she applies files N-400.
EVERYTHING IS ALL RIGHT MAN.
