I have heard and read on VJ that a lot of USC petitioner went to the US consulates and embassy with their spouse for interview.
There should not be a problem. I am planing to go with my wife to.
Good Luck.
And please fill in you time lines.

But I am still confused.
On all records her name is without the maiden name.
And her maiden name is Randhawa but not on any record and she never used it.
Do I have to fill in her name as FIRSTNAME ....MIDDLE NAME.... RANDHAWA.
I could put Sonia Gandhi but then she will have to share her wealth with me.
Is someone there on VJ who has been in this situation.
Please help.

cantwait2long,
you should put your wife's before marriage name. For example, wife's before marriage name is Sonia gandhi and after marriage is Sonia singh. So in item #2 you would put Sonia gandhi as her maiden name. Hopefully this will help you.
Best of luck!
Thanks waithater.

Mu suggestion is not to use travel agents for international flights. You can go on line and book the ticket.
Local travel agents are good for domestic travel only.
I go to Delhi every year and whan I travel there I use local travel agents.
www.Cheaptickets.com or there are many websites.
You will get conformation email. Email it to your spouse and that will be the e-ticket.
Man I can not believe that your I-130 was approved in 28 days.
Did you ask for expedite?
Good luck.

Good luck and God bless.
And do not even count the days...because days do not mattter with USCIS what matters is ...you got it wrong... the answer is not months...but YEAR and more.
Man made horse cart to move faster.
Then he made cars to move even faster.
And then airplanes to zip through the skies.
He made rocket to go to moon...WOW
And then all of a sudden there was a big bang and DOS made USCIS
And all fell in HELL.
HAIL VSC, CSC, NVC
Please Lord save our a**.

Hello All,
For the interview of CR1 visa, should the beneficiary have originals for the following or a photocopy will do.
1) I-130 Approval notice (Very hesitant to mail original due to chance of getting lost)
2) Boarding passes of the petioner
Please advise.
Thanks
YEYE
Copies are fine. Provide lot of proof of relationship that is important.
Looking at your timeline your I-130 was approved in 28 days. That is supra fast. Did you ask for expedite?

I get the "oh, you guys will never last"
I feel like saying "why is it ok for you to tell me my marriage is doomed to fail? What if I told you that"
I think that couples, who go through this process and face the difficulties brought upon by these delays, are more likely to stay married happily since they will come to appreciate the times together by remembering the times spent apart...at least in most cases.
C J you are absolutely right. Delaysand difficulties prepare you for the bigger and better cause.
