If you are recently married and your spouse is in a foreign country the you have to submit a copy of marriage ceritficate as proof of bonafied marriage.

In addition to that you can submit copis of you marriage photographs.

That's what I did with my I-130.

Figuring out how to get an IIN is like figuring out the weather.

We can forecast it, but you never really know until it happens, or doesn't happen.

Some got lucky calling early, others late. Some at the start of the week, others at the end of the week.

Some people get it on their first attempt, some after 30 attempts (that's me), and some never get it.

As others have stated, it's not the end of the world if you don't get it from an operator....but it does save a lot of time over

waiting on the mail. Just keep trying. Like I said, it took me 30 attempts.

If you ever wondered, YES they do log each time you call....but so what. They're working for your tax dollars,

not to mention the fees you've already paid. You deserve service.

So you were calling NVC a few times every day. Man you got lot's of time and guts. I get frustrated calling USCIS or NVC. In this world on internet we use email, text message for personal and work purpose why NVC does not accept email. Just a thought for NEXT SYSTEM UPDATE for NVC. Hope NVC DOES IT IN 2009.

WOW, finally NVC, has completed the case. My i-130 was approved on Sep 29th, but it took forever to get PCC. but other than that it was pretty fast. NVC said it was approved on Dec 5th, and they do not have any interview date left for Dec, i know they setup interview in Bombay for 2nd week of the month. Do you guys think i might have shot at the Jan, or Feb dates ??

Looks like you missed the Jan. 2009. One of my buddy's wife got the Jan. 22 interview date.

I am going thru an attorney. I do not have to send DS-3032.

My attorney has not received it so far. I am sitting tight till the end of this week and then I am going to call NVC.

The AVR says that NVC send the documents to my attorney on Dec. 1, 2008 and my attorney did not receive it as of today.

Just waiting and waiting.

Yes, he did eventually say he was sorry. But, not a good apology just said "I am sorry". Not sure if I accept it or not-he will have to do better than that. Anyway, he said he loved me and said he wanted a reply. By that he meant he wanted me to say I loved him back. I am not sure what else I should be expecting from him. No need to cancel the petition, I just do not feel right without him in my life. I think we can't go on without each other it would be too hard to be completely apart. My grandpa talked to him and said we both need to "grow up". Maybe grandpa is right. I know we need to communicate alot better. We will see how destiny unfolds Insha'Allah.

thanks everyone for the response. i did finally pay via online option. lawyer wasn't happy, but oh well. unfortunately, it took 4 weeks to receive the signed ds-230 from my wife. package is being sent to the NVC today. now it's wait time for the interview.

at one time or another we all say something harsh to someone and I can bet you, he feels like total dogcrap for it.

I know kai and i have but if you love someone you forgive. Just take a few days to cool off and let him know what he said cut you deep and it hurt. Then say I forgive you and TRULY mean it.

Ok, but he has not contacted me today at all. He said bye forever yesterday. I feel like an idiot because I am mad at him but I still been thinking about him all day. I wonder if he is thinking about me too or if he is just wishing I would disappear from his life.

When I called the NVC automated system it says that NVC has sent the package to my lawer on 12/01/2008.

Yestaerdy I checked with my lawyer and he said he did not receive it. Hope he gets it today.

The Spouse line is for other situations where you may be sponsoring another immigrant like parent, sibling, child, etc... OTHER than WIFE.

Also USE form I-864EZ if you are sponsoring 1 immigrant, NOT using a joint sponsor, and NOT using any assets.
