Sorry I haven't been around for a few days......but congrats to both TBoneTX & Jeraly!! That is great news.
I've got to believe things are getting close for us as well.
Thanks again Still for updating the list. I know it takes time, but it's greatly appreciated by so many. Geez....we're June filers and ONLY #32.... Oh well, that is certainly better than the 252 or whathever, when we first started this.
Best wishes to everyone for a happy holiday. I'm remembering that when we started this in June we were planning for Maria to be here for her first Christmas in the U.S. Only my fellow Juners can appreciate this..
It's been 191 days since we filed, 181 since noa1.
We'll continue to be patient.

hey tbone, do you think we'll get approved before xmas?
-
I think we should set a deadline for submissions, and maybe a prize for the winner, certainly a trophy!!!!!
-
Seriously? lol
Ha! That´s meant to the Maria and John´s post I knew I should have quoted
I mean to the "she stopped talking to him" post...D´oh!

Hey tbone....
I think you and I should start a new club: the 180 day club, and anyone else who qualifies is welcome to join us; we could alternatively call it the 6m club, the half-year club. Any other suggestions?
Does anyone know the record for the longest 129f approval (ignoring rfe's, etc.)?
This really isn't fun, in fact i get more angry each day, but i am trying to think of ways to pass the time. To be honest, i start to get depressed when i think about how long it is taking.
I asked my congressman's office to schedule an appointment for me with the director of csc. She said they don't see people. I then asked her to schedule an appointment with the director's assistant. She said they don't see people. I told her i want to fly out and go to the service center. I asked her who i can see there. She said I can't see anyone there, I have to call customer service. That is the group responsible for handling my concerns. I said, "yeah, but you told me earlier that they are not allowed to give out any information." She said that is true, but i need to talk with them.
For the first time in my life, i feel i am living joseph heller's catch-22.
Can you call it the Over 180 crowd......because many of us like me are at 193........and there is a crowd of us........from both centers......I am telling you for sure that the ACLU is the only recourse here....and I can not stand them but they are at least talking to me.......Sue my own government wow it is like suing yourself.....crazy.....Lora
That's certainly as good as any name i've suggested....why don't we start a contest....let it go for a week and see who comes up with the best name...only qualification is 180 days..what do you think?

hey, whatever happened to the guy whose so was not talking with him because the process was taking so long? Did he ever get approved? Is he still wanting to be with that, uh, person?

Congratulations, Tim:
We're very excited for you. That will make for a happy Valentine's day.
Hopefully, we'll hear something soon.
This is getting old.

Thanks, Tim:
Maria and I are being patient. Of course, we don't have many options.
Each day is 1 day closer.
Thank you for your kind thoughts and prayers.

Thanks for the encouragement, Tim:
Actually, I broke down and called csc yesterday. After the obligatory groveling on my part, the lady informed me that our file was "on an officer's desk."
Well, at least it's out of a box in a trailer.
Here's hoping it will come soon.

The Calif Service Center has moved its processing date from April 14th (where it has been for over 2 months) to April 29th......
Where is Ramzis' patience when you need it?

Eric....We're in the same boat.....just trying to be patient....I hate to think you're correct about not getting 2 until Christmas. Oh well, @ least we can count on Santa, right?
Waiting for a NOA2 from CSC for your I-129F?

actually, yes:
I called them November 5 and asked that they send me a duplicate of the hard copy noa1 that i never received, which they did and i received on nov 9. I then called and asked them which date i should go by: the website says petition received june 18 but the hard copy says june 11....they said go by the hard copy. From that I got 2 touches.
I then contacted my Congressman for help...we'll see how that works out.
Last week I called again to ask again about the confusion with the dates between the website and the hard copy..the call taker put in a written request. I said i was concerned the file was lost. I received a touch on 12/17 and another on 12/18.
Basically that's where it stands.
I just want this to be over. I'm ready to go on to the next step.
The thing that makes me mad is that there is nothing i can do about all this...i am helpless and dependent on someone else's actions, but many others here have already recognized that. I can't grease the skids or do anything to make it go faster. I have to sit here and wait and try to be patient. This feeling is new to me and I am not enjoying it.
But, Maria and I will get through this. Next Christmas we will be decorating our tree together, and all this will be a distant memory. Knowing this helps me remain in control.
And thanks for asking, Mox. I appreciate your concern. I've benefitted alot from coming to this site and I've made some really great friends; I think I'm a better person. For all of that, I am grateful.
Merry Christmas
