My husband is waiting for an interview to get his visa to come to the U.S. (all documents are accepted). I filed for him with my current income. If I get a new job, do I need to submit proof of that new job to NVC or does my husband take that info to the interview?

It would be your gross income (before taxes)

Hi! I had a very similar question and was worried that submitting the documents without PCC would result in delays when NVC reviewed our documentation. We had to reschedule our PCC appointment thrice in the past month, and then the third time, India's website said the service would be closed until further notice. So, in the comments section after marking PCC not available, we just added an explanation that the institution providing PCC in our country is closed because of the nationwide lockdown, and that the document will be presented at the interview. They accepted all our documents yesterday! Good luck 💛
That’s great! Congrats! Thank you for the response it provides clarity.

Their documents were qualified i.e. accepted.
I see thank you for your response. Is there anything specific you mentioned in the letter or provided proof of for this that would be helpful? Best of luck to you I hope everything gets accepted for you

Two people lately have reported that they uploaded document not available pcc specifically and were DQed. So it seems this is acceptable due to COVID closures. I did the same and am awaiting review. Best of blessings to you!
What does DQed mean?

Does Trump's new order to hold immigration for the next 60 days apply to spouses? If my spouse is waiting for an interview date overseas, will it be held for the next 60 days? Or if his country opens the lockdown and starts interviews, will he be able to immigrate within the 60 days that this is issued? I am confused on this new executive order.

I am a US Citizen and live in the US. I am sponsoring my husband who lives over seas. We are uploading our documents to CEAC. I have two questions:
1) I am sponsoring him based on just my income (filled out I-864EZ), I am NOT joint sponsoring with anyone. Do I need to upload my birth certificate? My husband is uploading his but I am not sure if I should upload mine (it's not showing as a required document for me)
2) His country is on lockdown due to the COVID and so we're not able to get his police report yet. Should we submit all our other documents right now and provide a letter that says the reason why we don't have a police report as of right now? Or should we wait until we get it? We don't know how long the lockdown will be for.

I submitted all my tax papers(transcripts) in February because I had not yet received my W-2 nor 1099’s. Everything got accepted April 7. I also received an email from NVC stating they needed all my W-2’s and 1099’s. The next day I submitted the W-2’s and 1099’s. So apparently, they realized I should have had my W-2 and 1099’s by April 7 so they asked me to submit those documents as well. Now I am waiting for those to get accepted.
okay thank you.

I am uploading documents to the CEAC portal. My spouse( living abroad) and I (living in the US) have all the necessary documents, except his police certificate from his country. He is unable to get it due to their country being on lockdown for the COVID-19 and we don't know when the office will open for him to get the certificate. Can we upload and submit the documents we have for now and then go back in later and upload and submit the police certificate when we get it? If so, will this delay our process and review time? Should we wait for the certificate before finally submitting all the documents?

I believe they are still are processing cases. The website says it's not holding in person meetings, but is still working with reduced staff though So the processing or response times might be longer than usual.

I am applying for my spouse over seas and using my income to fill out form I-864EZ. If I have the tax transcripts printed from online, do I need to include my W2 tax form as well?
Expedite Interview taking long
in IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports

My husband got approved for expedite CR1 visa in Islamabad Embassy. The case status shows "Ready" since January 12, 2021 and that it is now in Islamabad, but we have not received and interview date yet (been 6 weeks now). Is this normal? We contacted the embassy, they sent a link for us to sign up for an interview appointment, but when we went it said no appointments available. The embassy said they cannot answer any questions over the phone. We are feeling very lost and any guidance would be appreciated.
