  1. Hello, I have submitted my documents online for the n400 application. Long story short, I came to the US in 6/2020 and lived with my inlaws for a month before finding a place for me and my wife. We applied “married filing seperately” that year. Why? I really don’t know and neither my wife did but her parents said thats what we should do so we did (I barely knew anything regarding taxes at that time). I just checked the 2020 tax returns and found that the address on wife’s return is her parents address while my return shows our address that we moved to in 7/2020. Her W2 shows the correct address so I upload it too. Will that cause a problem? Our leese shows both our names in 2020, even bank statements.
  2. You gotta chill dude. You gotta chill. I am not trying to make any problems. I am free to ask and choose whatever i find good for me.
  3. I mentioned this becauze Steve said this “You are concerned with financial loss in the future, but the risk of loosing $725 now on a longshot is not a concern. Interesting.” I never had a conditional green card. I came with a 10 years GC
  4. No I do not need to be a US citizen to get a job. My question was in regards to the possibility of getting approval after 3 years of marriage. I was asking about the odds of being approved. I guess its pretty low and I want to try my chances. Maybe I could help others with my outcome
  5. Oh so you think future financial loss (being a dentist vs being an uber drive or any other job that has nothing to do with your educational certificate) should be as bad as a $700? i would think the financial loss is going to be alot more than if I spend $700 😂
  6. Involuntary separation. In the event that the applicant and spouse live apart because of circumstances beyond their control, such as military service in the Armed Forces of the United States or essential business or occupational demands I think I can work on the “occupational demands” point.
  7. I think im going to try. I beleive my reason for living away from my wife is pretty convincing. Its either i accept the school offer or we will have no money to live in the future. I mean whats the worst can happen? Ill get denied and try again 2 years after 😅
  8. I did not choose. I actually had no option 😕 I was not accepted in any school anywhere near memphis. Its either I go to the school i got accepted at or ill have no option to work as a dentist which is mu career
  9. Aren’t there any exceptions? Ive heard of “involountary seperation” as an exception. Im not sure tho
  10. Hey.. i have been a green card holder for 3 years now and now thinking about applying for citizenship. Me and my wife have lived together in memphis the first 2 years but this last year I had to move to Boston because I got accepted in a school. She was not able to move with me since she is still in school back in memphis but planning to come to Boston soon when she graduates. will this make my situation harder in getting accepted for citizenship based on marriage? we file taxes jointly and have joint bank accounts. Will these documents help? thank you
