Hey, I've trying for months to get a permit appointment in NJ and finally got one for October. They seem to release appointments on the site after midnight but they go fast.

I've had a very similar experience to you and its heartbreaking. I had my first child this year and going through the pregnancy and birth without my family was so difficult. We videocall with my parents regularly but it kills me that they haven't met their granddaughter yet, and I'm missing home like crazy. 

I have no advice but wanted to let you know that you're not alone. 

I got my interview notification recently, and received my actual letter with interview date and time about 4-5 days after.

I think they usually schedule the interview 4 weeks after the initial notice. I had my notice on Dec 9th and my interview is Jan 11th. So hopefully you'll have plenty of time to get your medical done.

I recently received my EAD/AP combo card and I'm hoping to travel home to the UK soon to see family, but I'm anxious about the possibility of being denied entry on return.

I adjusted status from esta when covid hit, and though it wasn't our intent when I first came over, I'm worried the CBP could see this on my file and deny re-entry. Does anyone have experience of travelling with AP with a similar immigration journey? 

Im also curious if port of entry makes a difference. I have the option to travel through Dublin with preclearence, or through London and go through CBP at Miami airport. Would either be more likely to deny/approve an AP entry?

I just received my EAD and AP combo card today after getting the approval notices three days ago ☺️

my EAD case status still reads 'fingerprints were taken' so I was surprised to finally get my card! 

Hope everyone else is seeing some progress 

There's no harm in going through the forms and making a list of all the documents you'll need. I found myself rushing to get everything done in time and wishing I had been more organized!

USPS priority mail. We went for next day delivery but ended up being delayed anyway 🤷🏻‍♀️

Hi all! 

Just thought I'd share my timeline here too.

We filed our i-130 + i-485, i-765 & i-131 concurrently on 5/31/20. They were received by USCIS 6/3/20.

We got text notifications for all of our filings on 6/15/20, and just received the NOAs in the mail today. I haven't received an NOA for i-131 yet, so hoping that comes soon..
