It took us a month but for K-1 visa. It looks like most people are out of AP in 4-6 weeks. Keep praying and try to be patient (I know it's hard ) , but have faith.

Does any of you have clue how long this 'AP' thing will take?

My case was completed on 7 March at NVC, I thought I will have a big chance to have the interview in April, but I called and called and was informed that my case is under AP and no fix time frame for the completion. Frustrating.....

Endless waiting just killing me…

April is not possible now, do you think I will have my interview in London in May?

After our petition sat around NVC for a MONTH, Congressman Steve Israel of New York for the SECOND time got the government to MOVE!!!

When our NOA2 was late I made a call to him and the NEXT DAY it was approved!!!

When our Petition was rotting in Administartive Processing for a month at NVC I calledl his office again and THE VERY NEXT DAY IT WAS FORWARDED TO WARSAW!!!

GOD BLESS YOU MR. ISRAEL!!! You have MY VOTE!!!

I called Madzia in the middle of the night in Poland to give her the good NEWS!!!

As of yesterday our case has been completed at NVC. With one RFE it took 90 days from NOA2 to completion.

We were using James' shortcut and I believe this save us apx 2 months.

My hubby and I are so happy for this part being over.

We are waiting too:( We got our NOA2 on February 6th, NVC got it on 15th and they still didn't send it.

Hi everyone,

We got our NOA2 with Notice Date Feb. 12 and I called the NVC this morning and they said that they received it Feb. 11.

I asked the girl at the NVC when it will be forwarded at the USEM but she said she don't know. Do they assign a case number once they received K1 NOA2 from USCIS? I looked at the Time Frames of some of the members here and I noticed that it only took like few days, a week or two weeks till their case were forwarded to the USEM. It's going 3 weeks now since the USCIS forwarded our case with them.

Could someone please tell me the particulars regarding the "RFE Trick". I need the special RFE number for vermont service center and I also need advice about what to ask them pertaining to whether or not an RFE has been issued...

...I need this information because even though our estimated date to receive our NOA2 has not passed, I am growing more and more impatient every day without my sweet Madzia.....

I am overjoyed, Sasha had her interview in Kyiv today and was approved for her Visa!!!! :dance: :dance:

So, in the interest of science, here is how it happened.

She arrived at the embassy about 45 minutes early and waited outside with everyone else. Once she was let in a lady in the processing window took her paper work and asked her:

"What does he do?"

Sasha said "He's a Technical Trainer"

"How did you meet?"

Sasha said "In Nags Head last July"

She was asked to be seated and the head interview person asked her to come in.

Sasha "Hi!"

Head interview person "Oh thank god, you speak english"

Sasha "Yes, yes I do"

Head interview person "Well, congratulations"

Sasha "No questions?"

Head interview person "No, everything is in order. You'll get your Visa in a week. Oh, you went to school in downtown, any good places to eat down there?"

Sasha "Yes, quite a few......"

Head interview person "Great! thank you"

That was that. I mean really, that was it, nothing more, she walked out got her information processed, paid the FedEx man and she'll be here in a week.

So on that note. WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO HOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!

In Poland we dont eat meat on Christmas Eve, so we have mostly fishes, pierogi, soups and other traditional Christmas dishes (that we never eat on any other day besides Christmas Eve). On Christmas day we can eat everything we want. So we eat all the kinds of meats and other stuff.

We are seeing the light at the end of this long dark tunnel, Just recieved e-mail from Vancouver they have indeed recieved our paper work and have sent out packet 3 to my address here in Alberta so maybe just maybe it will be here this week, and My previous marriage certs are on their way from NB as of today as well by couier so should have them by Friday! Gosh I may just be home in time X-mas I'm so excited I can hardly stand it I want to scream from the snowy roof tops ! Just called my SO left a message on his voice mail (he is in a meeting) to tell him the good news!

I really hope we will start getting our NOA2 right after Christmas:) James and I are already so impatient. My baby is coming to visit me in Poland for Thanksgiving (in 9 days) !!!!! Oh I can't wait:))))))))

Personal opinions welcomed here ...

There's 15 years between me and my fiance, which to us isn't an issue, but to an immigration official it might be a biggie that raises whatever flags these things raise.

Do you guys think this will be an issue to get our NOA2 and if and when we get through that, should we attend the interview in London together so they can see us as a couple?

I think that they aren't there to judge a couple's precieved suitability rather just that relationship is stable, on-going and, above all, genuine. In which case, we have no problems at all - we have been living together for 2+ years after all.
