Yes, same problem here. Did you get the biometrics apt letter though? They say only the receipt number there works online but we still haven't received mine after 6 weeks
Yes we have already gotten our Bio letters (had 2 sent with different days but went to the earlier one) and have already completed the biometrics. I didn't even pay attention to their being a different reciept number..hmm...off to check that out.

Anyone else unable to add their new reciept number to your portfolio online? It say's it's not a vaild reciept number. ??

Bio completed 6/1. We had recieved 2 biometric appointments but went to the earlier dated one and had no problems doing it then.

About a week ago we got our biometric appointment for my husband. Notice date was May 10 2010 saying to coem in June 4th. Yesterday we got ANOTHER letter with notice date May 14 2010 saying to come in June 1st. Which day does hubby go to capture his biometrics?

Good idea to check before mailing....
Some people write their A# on each page to make sure they don't get mixed up with others' documents or get lost.... I don't think I did that and it was ok for me.
When sending the envelop, you can use Priority Mail with Delivery confirmation, but make sure you write:
"Attention: I-751 petition to remove conditions of status" under the address so it goes to the proper department a little faster.
These are suggestions and not required but it gets your application faster in the right hands.

We're slacking big time (PR for my husband ends May 30th) but we had to get up the remaining money for the application. Just want to double check a few thing before I take it to the post office today. I have all the evidence/cover letter/money order together. I *thought* I seen on a post here (can't seem to find it) that someone wrote something on the top of every page they sent...but can't remember what. And I thought someone said they wrote "ATTN: so and so" above the address on the envelope...again, can't remember what. Are these things I should do before mailing our papers?

I posted not too long ago with my list of evidence I planned on sending in with the form. Now I have a couple more q's before I copy everything for my records. Just a FYI, I am the USC.
1. We do not have joint utility bills. Gas is in his name. Electric in mine. Cable is in his. Credit card in his name only. I know I will be sending a few bills from each place in his name proving he gets service here. QUESTION: Should I send in the electric bills in MY name to prove I live here with him or just the bills (gas & such) that are in his name?
2. Someone suggested bills spanning over our marriage since the AOS was approved. I can get only get his credit card from the previous address (where AOS was approved). Gas was turned on in his name at our current home only. Cable was put in his name here just recently (couldn't afford it before). I can get the joint bank account from old address though.
3. There is a Q on the form asking if we've moved since AOS. We have BUT we did a change of address with them. Should we still put our old address on the form to be safe?

We're set to apply to remove conditions on my husbands GC this March. I have a few questions before I start compiling the paperwork. After reading around on the board I'm a little confused about 2 things...
1. Do we have to submit Sponsership paperwork w/this application?
2. Is there another Medical exam needed?
As far as the "proof" of being married the past 2 years. I'm going to post what all I can thing of that I can send & I know it's not alot (or so I'm thinking), so I'd like honest opinions on if it's "enough".
- Marriage Certificate (obviously lol)
Rental Lease w/both our names plus 3 kids
Birth Certificates for our 2 children together
Joint Bank account
His credit card bill mailed to our shared home
Gas bill in his name in this address
Electric bill in my name in this address
Title to car in both names
That's all I can think of. We don't have life insurance. None of the kids are in school yet so he's not on their contact list. Health insurance for the kids is from the state right now and he is listed as in the house with them...could I get a print out saying he's listed as living here to help for "proof"? WIC also has him listed...other then that, I can't think of anything else. Hopefully it's enough??

Good luck on the 11th MsA! I couldn't remember why you had to have another interview so I hunted in the thread. I can't believe you were treated that way for falling in love with someone who happened to have a criminal background! Like you said, he did his time and the IO was a b*tch for judging your marriage based on that. I truly hope you get someone who DOESN'T stoop to that level and are approved! I also hope the offending IO gets some sort of action against them for what she pulled.

FINALLY some good news! Went to our infopass appointment today at 9:45am. After a short wait they called us up to the window. She pulled our case to see what the hold up was and "said" the lady was just about to approve our case. Do I believe that? Not really, since it took her a bit to come back so she was probably looking for it on the desk. lol Either way she said the IO was approving the case today and we'd recieve the card in 2-3 weeks. When we got home I checked my email and sure enough there was the email we've been awaiting.
I'm so glad we got answers but it bugs me to think how much longer we would have been waiting if we would have never made a infopass appointment. 
SO relieved not to have to pay for another work permit though!!

We're headed to our local office tomorrow for our infopass appointment. I'm HOPING we get good news. Ever since we recieved a reply to my phone call about the name check and it saying that had cleared within 2 months, I'm pretty irritated as to why it's not been processed yet since IO said that's all she was waiting for. Here's to a hopeful outcome for tomorrow!

You can always tell them that there was no option that fited: "where told AOS would be approved when FBI name check cleared, but then other excuse was given"
Do you know how tempted I am to actually SAY that! hahaha

My husband & I really need to make a infopass appointment to see what other processing they're supposedly needing on his case. After selecting "You need service on a case already filed", the options given do not apply to us right now. The only thing close is the "If it has been over 45 days since you contacted NCSC and have not received a response to your inquiry. You must bring the Service Request ID Number related to your inquiry to the appointment." but yet we have already heard back from our latest inquiry. So what do we do to get a infopass appointment? Would it work just to select "You need information or other services" ? That's really the only option I guess right?
In case you haven't read any posts by me, we have already had our interview on 11-06-2007 and the IO said she would approve the case once the FBI name check had cleared. After a few calls and inquiries, we recieved our latest letter in the mail stating his name check had cleared within 2 months and that's not the hold up. They stated the case needs additional processing and we've like to know just what that is since the IO said we would be approved AS SOON as the name check cleared. She even gave us the info for removing conditions. So anyway, I need you help to set up this darn infopass appointment.

I wish I knew the answer to this too. We were pending FBI name check as well and after numerous calls to the 800 number, they sent a letter saying the name check had cleared within 2 months but the case needed further processing. No idea what they need or anything but we plan to make a infopass appt asap.

Cecy - We are no longer pending fbi namecheck...but still don't know wth is going on.
What do we do to make a infopass appt? From what I get from just trying, I clicked that we had a case filed and it gave 4 options they allow infopass...none apply us b/c we HAVE heard back on our inquiry. We just need answers as to what other processing they supposedly need now. Anyone care to shed some light here?

To irritated to type so I'm just reposting what I put in a seperate thread:
At our interview on Nov 6, 2007. The women clearly stated to us that she could not approve the case at that time because the FBI name check had not cleared yet. She gave us info on removing conditions and said once the name check cleared, she would approve our case. I've called the 800 # a few times but got nowhere. On 4/24/08 I called and stated we fell under the 180 day memo. The representative took our info and sent a inquiry in about this. Today we recieved something in the mail. It states that our name check cleared within 2 months but our case can NOT be approved b/c they need to perform addition review on this case???? This is NOT what we were told AT ALL! She said she WOULD approve as soon as our name check cleared and according to them, it's cleared. ####### is going on?!?! HOW do we get answers?
On a side note, in the information given to them from us (or so they say) for that phone call states "type or service requested: interview reschedule" ??? We did not ask to reschedule any interview during that phone call. We went to out initial interview in November. Since then we have only heard from them after I've called asking about the name check. Again, how can I find out what's going on with our case b/c the woman we had our interview said nothing about needing more time.
