Because calling the embassy is so easy? I’ve been trying to call them and can’t get a person !

She did say something about a medical exam that she had to do again.

My fiance finally got a call from the embassy after her interview from 6 months ago, they said she was cleared. The guy said she was taking a risk because everything is closed. So he asked if she wanted the visa now or to wait. She said she wanted to wait until things got better. The question is, did she just mess everything up and now basically everything got thrown away?

Is it normal to be not told you are on "Administrative Processing"? My fiance had her interview on January and was approved, and still did not get her visa. They did not say anything about being on ap, but when we check the CEAC website it just says "ready".

She sent it through aramex. Until now she still did not receive her passport and visa. When looking at the CEAC website, it still says "ready", which has been saying that since before her interview. At least you got an email. We didnt get anything. We are being kept in the dark.

Morocco is a difficult embassy. We have seen cases take 3 to 6 months. There is nothing you can do till it gets issued. There is a regional subforum that talks about this issue extensively.  Look on the first page of the forum section, toward the bottom of the page. 

Thank you. Yes it seems like a very difficult consulate.

Yeah well it’s been more than 1-2 weeks, it’s been more than a month.

The missing Document causes that delay, if you guys approved there is nothing to worry about just keep checking CEAC until it turn to AP than ISSUED / 14 days after you will get notification from ARAMEX

Well I mean that document has been delivered since January, and there is still no update. Is it really causing that much of a delay?

I am not familiar with the system used to track passports, it might just be with a group that has not updated anything.  Usually when you get the Ready message on CEAC it means you are close.  All you can do is wait at this point.

Well the thing is, it has said "ready" since the interview, about 2 months now. It hasn't changed. Hasn't changed to AP or anything.

Thank you guys for the help. So the fact that her passport is not saying at the embassy its saying « no status for this passport » and when we check her case on ceac its say ready and not AP is normal?
