My father’s I-130 was approved Feb. 11 and NVC sent me an email yesterday with the case number. We’re moving forward here after a long wait

I didn’t get any communication (letter or text) from uscis yet. I just saw them cashed the check Friday. Yikes! It’s nice to have someone with the same time line. And mine is just for my father, my mother passed away in 2011z Keep in touch! 😊

On the part preceding that one 21a-28, which is name of beneficiary's spouses, I put the names of her spouses. She had two marriages, one with my Dad, and ended when my Dad passed away, and another one after that, ended with a divorce. So I put both those in that part.

Certainly not. I am not sure if you read my whole post but the blog I read said: 

25a - 36: Enter the names of your foreign spouse’s children that will be accompanying them. If no one else is will be immigration with them, type “NA” even if your spouse is pregnant. Until the child is born you cannot add them to the petition.

Since it's only my dad I am processing the papers for. The statement above is telling me not to list all of my dad's spouses and children but then reading the I-130 form, I didn't get the point she put on her blog. And this is where the confusion lies. Thanks for your response!

I qualified for both A and B but if I check A, I do not need to send my husband's birth certificate, divorce paper, marriage certificate and tax stuff, etc right? To my understanding, if I check B, that is when I send them paperwork. I just want to simplify and turn these forms in. Thanks in advance.

For question part8 question G, my husband was married before. Do I put her information (legal name) when they got married or her legal name at the moment? Can I file an I 130 for someone or do I have to be an immigration lawyer to do that?

You have to check the passport processing time nowadays... from my experience last year, you need to make an appointment online for a passport processing, unlike before that you can just walk in any DFA and fall in line. I decided to renew my passport Nov 5, 2010 and the earliest appointment date I got was Dec 28, 2010, I received my passport though 10 days after (not expedite)

If your travel time is definite in March, why don't you fill up an appointment now... here is the link: http://dfa.gov.ph/main/index.php/consular-services/passport/passport-appointment

This way you can be sure you already have an appointment before going home.
