I don't have the info on that consulate specifically, but all routine visa services are closed worldwide right now. There's no interviews being scheduled anywhere.

Maybe someone here  is going thru the same situation like me.  Do you think it’s normal for us to be waiting almost a year to get an interview date for port au prince, 🇭🇹 ?My husband's Documents were qualified on June2019 all fees are paid. This April made it 10months and now with the pandemic I don’t know when he will get here. Port au prince is taking forever to give an interview date. I am so frustrated

Can I share somethings with you that I learned long ago about this process

    • "the man with the gold makes the rules" and
    • it will take as long as it will take
    • no one with any certainty can tell you when some process will be completed
    • Your sense of urgency will never be equaled to what USCIS, NVC or your embassy demonstrates
    • Your journey is not going to mirror someone else's experience- yours and theirs are not the same
    • Lowering your expectations will make you a much more relaxed individual

    Good luck on your journey

I am not saying it makes a difference but are you a resident or citizen? I refuse to believe they would take 2 years to schedule an interview. That's beyond crazy

Have you considered calling your senator to see if this is something their case worker can look into. I work for the government and as sad as it is to say, sometimes politics move thing. My MIL became DQ last week and we were thinking booking tickets for August because I have my AA mileage that are set to expire today. Seeing your post just gave me a whole other perspective on the matter.

    Thank you

I am a US citizen the I130 was approved in 2018 and the case has been documentarily qualified sine June,5 2019 today made it exactly 9monts since, we have been waiting for this interview. Last I called NVC was today and no interview yet. I am just so frustrated with this whole process and Haiti with all the unrest’s makes it even more difficult. I get so depressed thinking about this nonsense

  12. Hey Guys I thought I was the only one losing my mind. My hubby’s case been DQ since June 2019. Nothing yet, I feel like my life is on hold this situation get me so depressed at times. Travelling back and forth is so difficult because of my job, our child. This has gotten so ridiculously. I feel like everyone are getting here illegally so much easier and doing it legally they make the process horrible. Every time I called both Haiti and NVC they can’t say anything and no body knows. I wish someone can give an answer 😭
