Yes, it's a good advice to contact the immigration office. Regarding to the move, it's always a lot of nerves and a lot of stuff. We also move with our favorite furniture, which is dear to us as a memory. Previously, we had a deal only with the transport company (https://www.removalslondon.co.uk/), which was engaged in our moving and even packing things, so we didn't have to think about it. And now we are moving to another country and we need a company that transports containers from London to the United States. To be honest, I wrote this story in case you know something about it.
