I submitted my marriage certificate but NVC said ‘your country requires more than one marriage certificate’ . I totally agree that it was my mistake. I should have read the instructions properly. However, I did submitted I-864 of joint sponsor and I also have screenshots of my attachments, but NVC said it is missing so I uploaded it again. I didn’t upload my Tax Transcripts 2018. And it is still missing because I don’t have it and I’m currently living outside of UNITED STATES. It is imposssible for me to get it online either since I don’t have a US mobile phone with my name on the account and I don’t have a credit card lol. 

In replacement of Tax Transcript 2018, I uploaded my Tax return along with my W2s .

Praying every single second to receive DQ email.

First submission Feb 20th .

April 22nd I received 3 RFE 

1) Marriage Certificate was missing

2) I-864 of joint sponsor was missing

3) They asked for my  TAX TRANSCRIPT 2018

I resubmitted everything on May 1st

I submitted my Nadra Certificate as Marriage Certificate. It was rejected. I resubmitted Nikah Nama, Nadra Certificate and True Translation of Nikah Nama . All in one pdf under 2mb. Now I’m wondering too when NVC will review it. 

I uploaded my Nadra Certificate, NikahNama, and True Translation of NikahNama in one pdf. I hope it gets accepted along with my other resubmissions. 

I received RFE for my Federal Income Tax Transcript 2018. I didn’t have it so I uploaded 1040 with w2. I’m really worried about this particular resubmission. 

Praying not to get RFE anymore.

I made the same mistake as @Bakhtawar Gul.

I uploaded my Nadra Marriage Certificate. I received FE . And it was same ‘ Pakistan requires more than one marriage certificate’ . 

I resubmitted it

Yes , I didn’t file for 2016 and 2017. On i864 they asked for three years. However, I filed my 2018 tax return. And Nvc is asking for tax transcript of 2018.

Hello everyone! I have applied for my husband and my case is currently at nvc stage. Recently, I received RFE. Nvc wants me to submit tax transcripts of 2018. I don’t have tax transcript, and I’m out of states which means I cannot download them online either. Do I have any other options to get my tax transcripts?

One more thing, NVC saying that i864 form is missing, but I submitted it and i also have screenshots of my submission. The thing is, there is a new edition of that form now, so I’m confused that should i just submit what i did earlier , or do I have to fill the new edition of form i864 ?

The answer depends not on why you "didn't" file your taxes but why you were "not required" to file.  If the reason is no income, for all three past years, just hand write in the available space.  "Income below filing threshold".  There are really no other acceptable reasons. If you have another reason, file the tax returns now.

Hey do we have to attach any proofs with this letter or it could be just a verbal letter explaining why I didn’t file my taxes?

like you said 2018 is the most recent tax year, so on form i-864 when they asked if you have filed tax for last three recent years?  Those years will be 2018, 2017 and 2016? I think what I did is that I put 2019 2018 and 2017

I’m sponsoring my husband. I have a joint sponsor and i know i still have to submit i-846 even though I’m jobless. I know they require tax papers also for the most recent year, but I’m abroad and I haven’t filed my tax return for the most recent year yet. What other documents I should attach with i-864?
