My wife had her interview yesterday and everything went well, but she was asked for my 2019 tax transcript and not the 1040/return. My 2019 tax return has yet to be processed by the IRS even though my accountant submitted it 11/03/20. Is it possible the embassy would accept a letter from my accountant stating she submitted my return? The IRS has a large backlog of paper returns from last year so I'm not optimistic that they will be processing mine shortly. It's been an incredibly long time since I've seen my wife and daughter, I'd rather not wait any longer than I have to. Thanks for your help.

For IR-1/CR-1 interviews, I have been tracking the interviews that have been reported on one of the facebook groups. They are making quite a bit of progress. There's one person with DQ on 9/1/2020 that got an interview on 2/27/2021. The wait time from DQ to interview date has been dropping. If the the trend continues, your DQ on 10/6 is projected to have an interview on 3/5/2021 (150 days of wait time). Our DQ is on 10/7, so there's light at the end of the tunnel!
That's fantastic news!

I just got the interview appt letter today. Interview scheduled for 2/10, hopefully that means the embassy will be open for the interview? Or is it an automated email that will need to reschedule the appointment... not sure.
Congrats, my wife was dqed October 6th i hope things keep moving at this pace. The embassy briefly closed all services due to covid concerns on the 21rst then reopened the 28th of December.

My spouse's and step daughter's I-130s were both approved 04/24/2020, but the NVC only has my step daughter's petition. The NVC has contacted the USCIS and they failed to respond. What can I do?

Is it strange for an I-130 to be transferred to a local field office when my spouse applied abroad? My lawyer has said it isn't out of the ordinary, but I can't find any other examples of this. The I-130 was transferred from the Texas Service Center to the NBC then to the Boston Field Office.
