Good evening everyone.
I just want to update everyone. I did my interview yesterday and was successful. I am now awaiting my passport.
I just want to encourage those waiting that you are not alone and next year this time you will have different problems. This won’t be one of them. Best believe Nothing happens before the time.
Congratulations I'm very happy for you. 🤗
May I ask the type of questions you were asked please?

Good evening everyone. Has anyone heard anything with their cases?
I know you all are frustrated but I hope that you will hear something very very sound.
I did an expedite request last week so I am awaiting a response as well. I am very hopeful as it is all left in God's hand.

Good Night
Just after I was reading this I received an email approving the expedite. We applied after seeing all of the encouragement from everyone on here and being very hopeless/depressed for many months. I hope everyone gives it a try and does not give up. Our family has literally been torn in half the past 18 months with my boys and I here in the States and my husband/daughter in Jamaica. If anyone is in the New England area- we have a really great lawyer who helped us who was an immigrant himself then brought his wife and children to the US on the CR1/CR2 visas so he understands the frustration- would be happy to share.
Thats wonderful, I am very happy to hear that and is hoping to get a response soon as I did an expedite for medical reasons. Congratulations on your approval one more stage and you are clear.

Has anyone had the experience of not getting not getting any response to an expedite request? Or do you know if the response time has gotten longer now? Thank you

Hey Guys, the below lawyer says that the US Embassy in Jamaica is doing DQ cases from May and June 2020. Hopefully this is accurate so you guys have an idea of where they are.

I totally get you. I check my damn case status everyday when I know damn well it's not going anywhere. This process keys up your anxiety. I had managed to forget about it before because of the presidential proclamation but as soon as that was lifted, it was right back at the forefront of my mind.
This is so stressful. We literally doing it the right way and still at a lost.

I just really need to be over with this process as its really hard to deal with mentally, emotionally and physically. No matter how I try to not think about it and go throw my day its always just there like a ghost in the night.

I think they should do Zoom interviews and let us come in for biometrics as the final part of the process. That would be much easier and efficient.

I was just about to post in here ennuh lol. I called the embassy today, cause I wanted to know if I could take a trip to the us for about 4-5 months and not worry about them scheduling an interview for me and I have to run come back. The lady said my case is still at nvc so I don't have to worry about that. Which means that they're definitely not taking any new cases from nvc for now so I will go enjoy myself as a tourist 😂.
Oh dear, well might as well enjoy yourself yah. I wish I had a visa to go see my hubby too.

Hey guys, how are you all doing? So quiet!

As been said here, only emergency and expedited cases are being done now. Therefore, expedite if you have a strong reason for doing so.
Ok no prob, thank you.

Depending on workload, staffing and accuracy of your documents, it could be 3-14 days. They are pretty quick about processing, nothing like the Embassy. You may call them late night for status updates, they close at midnight. Hold times are far less after 8PM.
Thanks hun, I really appreciate it. Do you know how the interviews going for spouses of citizens?

I believe my heart is not healing because my baby is not here with me, so every day I call them to keep me from not losing my mind. But not having her here is not doing me any good. I believe all the time that she is in danger. I trust no one with her anymore, not even her eldest siblings because I am afraid for her all the time. I myself do need help to heal my broken heart
I'm sorry you and your baby are going through this. Keep praying as God will make a way for you both.

Hi Everyone, I love reading the content here and had a question. I recently sent in all my documents on 3/18/20 to NVC. Has anyone recently sent in there's and how long do you guys think for them to DQ?
