1 week from the expedite approval (I am getting excited to see if there’s interview schedule yet). Called US Embassy in MNL to see if my parents have appointments yet, nothing. But the agent opened a ticket for me to their Communications Unit to request a date for interview. She also had me create a profile for my parents on ustraveldocs.com/ph.
It says they’ll respond in 1-2 business days. Cross fingers 😊
Nice, good to know this.

Praise God!!!! My expedite request for my parents got APPROVED!!!!!!
Excellent. Congratulations. May I ask you what was the reason for your expedite request?

Yes you can. It’s a request to expedite with reasons provided. You just need to send email for request and attach all evidence with email.please use link attached for more info. Hope this helps. If approved, you get in line for interview ahead of denied you stay where you are. My parents are DQ since Jan 2021

Thank you for explanation. My wife is pregnant and I would like to expedite my parent’s IR5 petition so they can come to take care of my wife and take care of our child. Anyone have any idea if this would be a valid reason to expedite?

Could you explain what is expedite request? Can I do expedite request for my patents? They are DQed in 8/2021 just waiting for interview.

Google "free pdf converter" and use it to compress it more: https://www.pdf2go.com/compress-pdf
Make sure you're uploading one type of document at a time. tax return | salary letter etc
I used the same one, make sure its properly readable after compression.

Just my parents. Did you complete one I-864ez for each parent?
Yes separate I-864ez for each parents. If you are the only sponsor ( All income under your W2) then you should do I-864ez.
Sometime multiple sponsors needed in that case I-864 is required. -

For my mother we have been DQ from 4/17/2020. No interview scheduled yet. Mumbai Embassy, India.
What do you mean by DQ?

Thank you! And yes, I am filling out I-864. What is the difference between I-864 and I-864ez?
I think is you are the only sponsor the use I-864ez and if you have other family member sponsoring with you then file I-864.

Please help!!!
I already paid 1 AOS fee for both parents. It shows "paid" now. I am currently filling out the I-864 form. The internet fillable one is not automatically typing "1" for myself under Part 5 #2. So I am completing it written. My question is:
1. Since I only paid 1 AOS fee, do I complete only 1 I-864 form?
2. Under Part 3 #2, do I check this box and write my other parent's name under Family Member 1 since they are immigrating at the same time?
3. Related to my question #2, it says on Part 3 #2 "Do not include any relative listed on a separate visa petition", does this mean that I should not write my other parent's info in this form?
1. Since I only paid 1 AOS fee, do I complete only 1 I-864 form? Nop you pay one fee but upload separate I-864ez for both parents separately and upload in their respective accounts
2. Under Part 3 #2, do I check this box and write my other parent's name under Family Member 1 since they are immigrating at the same time? part 3 is information about petitioner only on I-864ez form
3. Related to my question #2, it says on Part 3 #2 "Do not include any relative listed on a separate visa petition", does this mean that I should not write my other parent's info in this form? I think you are filling up I-864 and not I-864ez.
I am not expert but I am telling you based on what I have done. Hope this helps :)

Hello, quick question, I am a US Citizen filing I-130 for my parent who lives abroad. Do I at any point need to file an affidavit of support form I-864 to complement the petition? If so, is it in the beginning when I file I-130, or is it when my parent is scheduled to appear at a foreign country embassy/consulate for the visa interview? Also, can anybody provide a full list of documents to be submitted with the petition? I appreciate any help. Thank you.
For online i130 application for parents you will need following documents initially...
1. Your birth certificate
2. Your US passport/Naturalization certificate
3. Your parent's marriage certificate
Additional documents to support but not necessary are following ....
4. Your parents' passports
5. Your driving license
6. Cover letter
7 Name change affidavit if different names are used in past

My dad got DQed in 8/2021, mom still pending, anticipating her DQed in few weeks. Not expecting IL from mumbai embassy at this point considering significant backlog. Expedite request was made 2 weeks before hoping to get some response on that soon as well.
