Hi Guys.. I’ve got no idea what to do now..
NVC rejected my Australian Federal Police Certificate saying it was the wrong one..
We called them and was refurred to a Supervisor for review
Today after waiting over two weeks, we called them and was told that the Supervisor had reviewed it at that it was the wrong one and must be issued by the Fed Police.. But it is issued by Fed Police and clearly says so on it.
ive asked others and they’ve either posted or sent me copies of theirs and they’re identical to mine..
I’m not sure what to do now.. it’s been rejected twice and reviewed by a supervisor as wrong one.. but it’s the right one, same as others who’ve been accepted and the only Fed pol one we get here
any ideas?
Hey mate, you sure you are selecting “ Full Disclosure “ one ?
you are right that you have sent them the AFP one but there are various options on the website. You need to select the one that’s used for Australian Immigration. ( yes, it’s US but they still require Australian Immigration one as it discloses every offence)

Plan Is through SPER (or however it’s spelt) yeah?
They should have given you a letter with the plan, and will give you receipts/paid notice.. should be ok especially if paid in full pre interview.
Hey Duke,
Thanks for taking out time..
No they are not fully paid as i am running little tight on budget & have got all those fines on a payment plan from the Fines Dept here in Sydney. I have got the letter with their scheduled payments.

You should be fine... but you’ll need evidence to prove any fines have been paid off / not outstanding.. so would be a better idea to get them paid off ASAP
as a side note, I’m having heaps of issues with clean AFP certificate... NVC not accepting it.. double/triple check it’s the right one
I have over sighted them. Just got them on Payment Plan. Should be ok right ? I can take the payment plan with me?

Hi Guys,
I received my Police Check last week, that had 3 fines speeding ticket fines.
1 - driving unregistered Vehicle: I totally forgot to renew my car registration.2- Driving with no eligible driver: I was on learners & was driving with my wife who have International License. Previously, i was stopped & Cop let me go once my wife presented her license. This was another one pulled me over & fined & said, She should have Victoria Full Licence.
3- My son who was on baby booster, unlocked his booster seat belt accidentally, while playing with his toy.
Now, these fines are on Payment plan.
I never had any reckless driving nor any DUI. Am I good with this or i should be worried about ? I am so paranoid at the moment. -

If your job doesn’t pay enough perhaps. If it does come with employer provided health care probably. You need to budget about $2000 per person per month for health insurance premiums and out of pocket costs.
My workplace is providing me Health Insurance. Thank you.

Public charge does not apply to all immigrants. This law mainly impacts those seeking permanent resident status through family member petitions when they AOS (adjust their status while living in the US.
The EB-3 is employer sponsored so I assume you have an offer of employment that can sustain your family. Most major employers include health insurance, but I would double check the details of your offer.
If your EB-3 moves forward, you will be allowed to bring your spouse and children under 21.
I presume that your employer is managing this application or has Legal group outsourced to perform this work.
I would encourage you to reach out the HR recruiter with these questions, I know many employers are putting together frequently asked question packages for this issue.
Great. Yeah I am on work sponsorship Green card. My family is coming along & Yes an attorney is taking care of it. Thank you.

hey it was a random stop, and the way it works is serequol shows up as an opiate on the test. if your script isnt with you you get fined regardless. thats why the check specifically says PRESCRIBED drug. You can drive on it as its not restricted and i dont feel the side effects as ive been taking it for over ten years. i never fought it as i work at sea and left the following day.
Im prepared to be grilled and its the only time that has happened to me so i hope they see past it. Im also brining a letter from the doc which says what i am saying now.
Im very nervous and hope it gets approved or i get offered a waiver if denied.
where are you from?
Hi K1,
I received my full disclosure today & found out that I have 3 fines worth of $500, that i had no clue about it. They were overstayed a stopping zone, mostly parking & 2 speeding tickets that are paid.
I am very much stressed. How did you go with yours in interview?
I am in Sydney, Australia btw. -

Did you applied via BDV Solutions? -
Hi All,
There has been a great fuss about the new immigration rules / restrictions. I had put up my questions but it got over sighted so thought to create post myself.
I am an EB3 Visa applicant from overseas. I will be getting a Green card as well as a job that has been ready to entertain me once i touch down the glorious land of USA.
Does this new "Self Sufficiency" rule affects me at all ? The application include myself, my wife & a 6 yr old son.
Awaiting Medicals & Interview.
Thanks in advance for taking out time to respond me. -

Also for Eb-3 you will have to come here under some other visa like F1/H1b/L1 unless your employer is willing to sponsor you for Eb-3 and wait until you get your green card. If you are applying H1b than you will have to compete for a lottery and see if you get through the lottery. Once you get H1b you can request your employer to file for Eb-3 green card.
For Aussies E-3 is the way to go.
Hi Donald,
why was your I 485 was rejected? did they provide any feedback?

Note that this is a USCIS rule, so it doesn't impact visa applicants. DOS could implement similar policies in the future, but have not yet.
When an I-130 was filed doesn't matter as there is no public charge requirement associated with an I-130. That line coovers cases in which there is a public charge issue associated with the benefit that USCIS is adjudicating. For instance, it covers an I-485 for AOS, or when a COS or EOS application is filed.
I have lodged my application & now waiting for an interview. Does this rule affects me ? Mine is employment based visa. EB3.
Also, has this rule being implemented or this is still need any further approvals from court or senate?

What would be the self-sufficiency here?
"This decision allows the Government to implement regulations effectuating longstanding Federal law that newcomers to this country must be financially self-sufficient and not a 'public charge' on our country and its citizens," said White House press secretary Stephanie Grisham in a statement. -

We did a different visa so what they asked me won’t be what they ask you. They may want to verify some pieces of information on your application.... or not .. the hard work for the eb3 has been done by the employer . Make sure you enjoy the view out of the large floor to ceiling window at the end of the main area on the 59 th floor. Stunning harbour view !!
lol Thanks man. Will surely do. -
