  1. Hello, you say that your soon to be ex was an online entrepreneur when you met, so did he ever disclose to you or even show you what type of business he was running? Sounds to me he was and could still be an online scammer because Door Dash does not pay that well and you say he makes a lot of money. The scammers never call it what it is but they use titles such as "entrepreneur" and they call their victims "clients" (usually both in the U.S. and abroad that's a dead give away especially in online dating that a man is unemployed) . Sounds to me since he has not been sharing the details of his earnings he is the one that is controlling and he is just turning it around on you to make you look like the cause of the divorce when it is really him and he may have had this all planned out from the day he met you. I'm sorry this happened to you though I am sure you are a good person and there are some evil people out there. We have to be careful sometimes these men will use us to get here and then divorce and later marry someone back home and sponsor them to come over and the lady back home will know about it and will be very patient in waiting. It happens and sadly there is no protection against it.

  2. Good evening, my fiance and I have received our NOA2, but he has not yet been contacted by the consulate as the NOA2 approval letter stated that it could take several weeks. My questions are:

    1. Does he need to go ahead and complete the DS-160 visa application, or should he wait until the Consulate has contacted him?

    2. I heard a YouTuber say that her beneficiary was not able to make the online payment from his country that the payment  has to come from the U.S. is this true?

    3. I also know that the world has been pretty much put on hold for awhile so my next question: If he can complete the DS-160 application is there a time frame in which it has to be processed in a way that would cause the DS-160 application process to have to start over again if that time frame is not met?

Any help would be appreciated 🙂

  3. Hello all I am a US citizen and I am helping my fiance get his packet together for his interview and I have a couple of questions. Can someone please help me?

    1.  will a copy of my tax documents from the company that prepared it be good enough for my income verification or will I need a to get a transcript from the IRS.

    2. Will I need to put a copy of every page of my passport in my fiance's packet?

  4. Hi Latonya....so I got our NOA2  approval letter on February 11th and now are awaiting  the NVC process. Also, I mailed my RFE  on February 5th back to the California center and it didn't take them long at all to give their decision. So we are moving right along and praying for the best. I'm so ready to be joined with my fiance so we can finally spend our lives together.

  5. Hi, I also live in Dallas. May I ask what part of Dallas do you live?  It's true that some parts do not have public transport but there are plenty of DART trains and buses; some parts such as North Dallas and South Dallas do have public transport. There is the DART bus or the train that travels throughout different areas of Dallas. Some go as far as Rockwall. It all depend on what part of Dallas you are living in. If you are saying there is little to no public transport I'm guessing that you could be in the Southwest Dallas area this is where Desoto, Cedar Hill, Lancaster, Red Oak and Glen Heights area and there are no buses or trains that run through here but there is Uber and Lyft.  I'm not sure who has the cheapest rental car service but you may can go online and compare prices of the rental car companies that are here. Hope this helps!

  6. You're welcome....Oh wow I was just in the Gambia in July of last year visiting. It was my second time there. I was there for a mission trip in 2016 with my church and I fell in love with Mother Africa and I really want to see more of the continent. It's such a lovely place beautiful people and so much love. This time when I went back I was able to experience more of the culture  because we were busy working in 2016.  But yes we should definitely keep in touch!

  7. Hi Latonya, I know how you feel. My baby is in Gambia also but he is Igbo he's teaching me his language also and I miss him so much. I filed in September and unfortunately got an RFE on Monday for my proof of divorce. I sent every page of my final divorce decree with the packet, yet they say that they did not receive all of the pages but just some of them. So I took off of work tomorrow so that I can travel to my hometown to get those darn papers and go straight to the post office to send them back to them, lol the suspense is killing me.  Have you tried calling the USCIS they will tell you where you are in the filing process if that would ease your mind a bit. I called after I noticed it had been almost 5 months since filing the lady was very friendly and even looked into her system at the packet and she said that everything looked fine and nothing derogatory was there. But then a couple of days later I got the RFE. But I am confident that everything will work out in perfect timing as will yours!
