Hi all - My wife and I were just "Documentarily Qualified" on August 12th. It sounds like it is going to be a while before we get an initial interview date given what I'm reading on this forum - a long backlog for the consulate to go through due to COVID-19 closures
Sorry to those of you who have been rescheduled and are having to wait so long!
We are wondering if we should be doing anything on our end to initiate the process to get an interview date? I've seen information about "Packet 3" and "Packet 4" on the consulate's website and I am wondering if we should fill out Packet 3 to send over? Or is that something we should be receiving from the consulate *after* they have scheduled our interview date? We're just trying to make sure there is nothing to do from our end. Thanks for any information!

We got our interview letter as well today! We're set for April 23rd. Congrats to everyone who got their ILs today!
We saw something interesting in our letter and are curious to know if others have seen this too...
The "Additional Applicants" list is showing the petitioner (i.e. the US citizen spouse)... I cannot imagine the US citizen spouse would need to go to the interview, do they? Thanks and sorry if this has already been answered somewhere.
