    JG -- Smadi else afi pray tideh! I need someone to pray for me, because, I'M ABOUT TO GO OFF.

    I just walked into my office and someone cut their damn FINGERNAILS and TOENAILS at my DESK and left it there. I was in another office working, becaUse they're putting a white board into my office and this is what I see at my keyboard. I'M TRULY DIGUSTED...I'm going to send an e-mail. brb

    DYAM!!!! that is jus nasty, why in the heck they getting with they toenails at work anyway?? HA.. I can only imagine the hot email that is going out to the office.. be light girl LOL

    Too late! I already got in trouble for the e-mail, because I used the phrase "WHO THE HELL, cut their DIRTY and NASTY FINGERNAILS AND TOE NAILS AT MY DESK" in big BOLD 100 point letters....:angry: ( I wanted to add the word "NASTY A$$", but I don't want to get a pick slip to HR.

    Sorry you got in trouble but I believe that harsh language was justified. BLEECK!!!! :blink:

    Tre.....that is one of the most disgusting stories I have ever heard. I hate when people do that to one another. She needs a really BIG dog behind that fence. I'm so sorry.

    Well, we broke down and bought a new bed last night. Been looking for a while now cause while are mattresses are new, the bed is #######. Besides nearly dooking it out over a comforter set, we got the one we want............

    I got my NOA2 by mail. The date of approval was April 29. Last week I called NVC and they were able to tell me they recieved the petition on May 5 and on May 7 it was mailed to the embassy in JA. They were also able to verify that the embassy had received it. On Friday I sent an email to the embassy to request copies of all docs that will be sent to my fiance' and I got a response that day saying they would send me the docs. It was ALOT of progress in one week! :thumbs:

    Anyone know anything about White Sands in Negril? I'm looking for some nice family place on the beach in Negril. I'm taking the kids, I need a budget place, the Airfare is kicking our a$$.

    I have stayed at Whitesands. It was a couple of years ago. I thought it was a great value and good location on the beach. The restaurant wasn't great but the bar has wonderful drink specials.

    Which is the magical 202#? I have two: 202-663-1541 & 202-663-1225.

    I am on hold right now checking to see if NVC has received my petitions...... :whistle:

    My girl where did you get the other number from. I hope you're on hold with 202-663-1225. They've always been very help full and very nice to be. They were annoyed when I told them I received instructions in my packet that we need to submit and I-864 instead of an I-134.

    I think I got the other number while listening to the menu of options to select??? Eeeks. Now I don't remember.....but that could be because I did get through to a very helpful VSC rep and found out that my case was received on 5/5 and sent to Kingston on 5/7 and she also verified that embassy had received the petition. CHA! :dance: What a lovely surprise!

    Yep....now it's time for the DS-230. my fiance still don't have Packet 4 :angry: ...I received my copy and I DHL it to him, but his name is not in the address part, it's listed at the bottom though with the date and time. I hope this will not cause a problem during his medical.

    I forgot who was it that stayed at the CHRISTAR VILLAS in Kingston. If you did please link me. I want to know how the property was. If you have any other recomendations for the Kingston area, please type it here. Thanks.

    I stayed at The Courtleigh Hotel and Suites in Kingston, whenever I go to JA. I love the hotel, because the buffet breakfast is included in the cost of the room. Whenever I am there I only need to eat my breakfast at the hotel since my in-laws are feeding me for lunch and dinner. I give this hotel a 4.5 rating, it is clean, safe and was very accommodating to my indivual needs. This might sound a little snobbish it is a real Hotel, not a motel(like motel8). I don't want anyone to take this wrong, but I hate motels.

    Tre, I strongly recommend this hotel, but again , to each it own.

    Thanks Roxie, no offense taken. I don't do motels either. After finding condoms (USED) in the bathtub that was it for me. No more motels.

    thanks for the great info. I was thinking of staying at a hotel the night of interview so we aren't late for the 730 appointment. Are these hotels near the Embassy?

    Hi Wakey,

    This Hotel is right next door to the Hilton, close to the Embassy. The Embassy recommends the Hilton, but price is tooo high for the lack of accommondations. Again, the breakfast buffet is GREAT.

    I have a question about the DS-156. The US Embassy in Jamaica's website allows you to fill out the form online and make your appointment online when you receive a barcode. Has anyone done this?

    Don't bother. All that will do is give you a headache. That online booking system does not work.

    Oooooohhhhh! I want to go to JA!!!! I am missing my honey and I would love to get out of town!

    I do hope to get there some time this summer, but as I am sure many of you can sympathize, it is hard to make plans when I don't know when the NOA2 will get done. It would be nice to bring down papers. But it would also be nice to be able to attend the interview at the Embassy. But I doubt I could swing both trips. I LOVE to plan vacations and THIS is frustrating having to wait and see. I am NOT a wait and see gal!

    I so hear you...you don't know if you are coming or going! I did the same thing! However, I finally got so fed up I book a trip for January in November only to get my NOA2 2 weeks later :angry: ! So then, I had to go back down in March...but it's all good...I will never complain about going tuh Yard! :lol:
