Has anyone received IL for CR1/ IR1 in January 2021? I know few people who got IL in December 2020. It has been frustrating dealing with the embassy as they giving conflicting information when you email them.
My case got DQ end of oct2020, requested expedite, wrote email to NVC and they agreed to send the request to US AUH embassy, got the reply after a week from them asked us to wait for Embassy to send us a reply for scheduling interview. Note that Embassy will only accept expedite if its a valid reason. Like in my case, my work and residency are expiring end of dec2020, we used covid as a reason as well since i got half pay only on the last 6 months and was struggling financially in AUH, my husband is USC and i hv no where to go when visa expires and if i go back to my home country that will take my case to the very last cue which we cant take any longer. Emotionally stressful for us. Second week of Nov2020 embassy approved expedite and gave us appointment after national holiday 7th of dec...theres nothing wrong being overprepared on day of interview which i did. But whatever requirements they asked me to bring thats mentioned in their email is what they took, nothing more and nothing less.

Thank you for sharing in great detail! I feel you on all the reasons for expedite especially the UAE residence permit. My husband's residence visa expires soon so we also asked for an expedite because he doesn't want to extend and then leave the company after just a few months. We'll see, the NVC email said they are 'still reviewing' our request. I sent it on Nov 4, so I am surprised the review is taking so long. Good luck on the interview! Keep us posted
Call them, follow up your case. Let them feel the urgency of that matter. We call every week. And we received most of their replies in email by thursday every week

Hi there,
Can you share your reason for expedite?
We requested expedite when case was still at NVC, the problem is that my residency visa and working permit are both ending on december. I decided not to renew since i dont want to be tied to another limited contract. I was mentally conditioned to just go back to my home country , shift my case to the US embassy there and wait.we just wanted to try if they can expedite, another reason, my police clearances are expiring or expired since i cant go home to request a new one due to travel restrictions of pandemic, and finger rolled impressions in MOI is still closed. Except for UAE pcc which i can request online easily, but my qatar pcc and philippine pcc were difficult to obtain due to pandemic. My husband focused the blame to the pandemic on our request. If my residency and work permit are not ending december, we wont ask for expedite, we just dont want our case to be on the last queue for interview when i go and shifted our case back at home in manila(they got more applicants than here in UAE). He added financial hardship as well, supporting 2 households, there was a time that i was only receiving half of my pay because my duty hours was also cut into half as well. I feel that residency and the work permit expiring us the deal breaker and that they accepted it.

It's better to be safe than sorry. You can take everything to the interview. I had a whole lot of documents (Affitdavit of support included), pics, phone call and chat records, money transfer receipts etc but wasn't asked to show any of them. But you never know when they'll ask for it
Gosh! speaking of pictures, is it supposed to be like a scrap book compilation of pictures, or printed individually photo paper?

The NVC website recommends you bring copies of everything you uploaded to the CEAC website. Being prepared pretty much ensures you won't need those things, but best to have them in case they ask so as not to delay your case. We brought all those things and they didn't ask for any of it but I've also read other people post that they were asked for those things
Thanks. Now i have to discuss this with my husband. He insists on to stick what the email says, but i want to bring everything we have uploaded and additional evidences

I got my case requested for expedite to the NVC last october 14,
a week after(oct 22) they replied and they will review the request . By
oct 30 the US embassy in UAE have accepted the case.
Nov. 5 when NvC submitted all our docs to US embassy.
Nov. 17 US embassy sent mail instructions how to make appointment.
Nov 19 they have confirmed my appointment of interview on Dec. 7
My question is do i only bring what im asked to bring as per the mail i have received from the embassy or should i bring everything that was uploaded since i started my application? Our pictures, AOS, 2019 tax return were not mentioned to bring on the day of interview. Mostly just the civil documents, police clearance and (his) divorce papers, medical report in sealed envelope.

This is the facebook page that can help obtain PCC from Qatar on your behalf. It’s just a bit pricey. I think Php 16k each.
https://m.facebook.com/PhilippinesHelplineGroup/?tsid=0.33248769758180374&source=resultThan you for your post but ill keep it in mind that i can avail this if the next step that im currently on will fail again. Ill post soon if this thing works. Just to help out those applicants who are in abroad with no one to depend on in Qatar, who dont have the luxury to go home and will depend on SPA for their reps in submitting in qatar embassy manila. As much as possible i dont want to resort to agencies for this kind of stuff specially if i think im capable of doin it on my own. They tremendously charge u very high, as if you have already bought a ticket and a week stay in 5 star hotel in qatar. And 70% of that job will be provided by you so i dont understand for the cost that they are charging.

Here is everything I have on Qatar PCC
How to obtain your Qatar police clearance certificate when you're in the Philippines?
1. You can send all the requirements to the Qatar Embassy through WExpress (affiliated with DHL, they have different branches but they have one in DFA ASEANA). I called the embassy and was advised that the wait time for this process will take up to 2-3 months.
2. You're lucky if you have a friend in Qatar who is willing to process and get it for you.
My friend successfully got my PCC in just 1 week!
Here is the list of requirements I sent him:
a. SPECIAL POWER OF ATTORNEY (SPA)
b. NBI CLEARANCE
c. SUNDRY CARD/FINGERPRINTS
d. LETTER OF PURPOSE
e. CLEAR PHOTOCOPY OF YOUR PREVIOUS QATAR ID
f. CLEAR PHOTOCOPY OF YOUR PASSPORT AND RELEVANT PAGES
g. 3 PCS OF 2x2 PHOTO (this may not be needed), The Ministry of Interior (CEID) used the photo I had on their system which was the one used in my QID. (But just in case, include it.)
h. COPY OF YOUR PREVIOUS RESIDENT VISA-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
a. SPECIAL POWER OF ATTORNEY (SPA) to authorize the person you will appoint to transact, request, sign and receive on your behalf. This has to be notarized with a Certificate of Authority for a Notarial Act (CANA).
Don't forget to bring a photocopy of your friend's Qatar ID, ask the lawyer to include his/her QID number in the SPA. You will also need your friend's date of birth, nationality, and address.
*Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) does not authenticate this document without CANA.
*You can ask the lawyer who will sign your SPA where you can get his/her CANA.FEE: 1,150 PHP for SPA and 100 PHP for the CANA.
(SPA fee may differ depending on which law office you'll go to)
b. NATIONAL BUREAU OF INVESTIGATION (NBI) CLEARANCE. Check the nearest NBI satellite near you.FEE: 130 PHP
I got 2 copies of these so I can send one to Qatar and one for my visa requirement.
c. SUNDRY CARD/FINGERPRINTS. You can get this from NBI or (Philippine National Police) PNP in Camp Crame.
NBI requires an endorsement letter as a proof that this document will be used for visa requirements. However, Qatar and the US embassy do not provide any endorsement letters. If you have the checklist with you from National Visa Center (NVC), you can bring it there and they might give you the sundry card. Please contact NBI about this.
I got my fingerprints from PNP, Camp Crame - Crime laboratory. Once you're there, you will be asked to pay the fee at Landbank within the camp. People are really nice and helpful, so just ask them how to get there. It is just a walking distance from the lab.
FEE: 200 PHP
Once paid, go back to the lab. You will only need (2 pcs) 2x2 pictures and the receipt of your payment.
------------------------
After collecting these documents, you may now bring them to DFA-ASEANA. (DFA satellite offices do not authenticate PNP sundry card)
FEE: 200 PHP each document for 1-day processing.
- SPA/CANA
- PNP fingerprints
- NBI
(total is 600 PHP)*If you're willing to wait for the normal processing, you will only need to pay 100 PHP per document which will take 4 days before you pick it up.
--------------------------------------------------
d. LETTER OF PURPOSE. This is a formal letter addressed to the Director General of evidence and criminal information. Here's a sample:Ministry of Interior Qatar

h. COPY OF YOUR PREVIOUS RESIDENT VISA-----------------------------
After you have all these information, you can finally send it to your friend in Qatar. I used DHL, my friend got the mail after 3 days.
FEE: 3,145 PHP
------------------------------
My friend brought it directly to CEID the next day but he was asked to go to the Philippine Embassy to get a stamp. He had to pay 300 QAR for the stamps.
FEE: 100 QAR per stamp
- SPA/CANA
- PNP fingerprints
- NBII know, it is really expensive!!!! ?? It does not end there...
-------------------------------
After getting this done, he went to Qatar - Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA) to get another stamp. Again, he had to pay 400 QAR.
FEE: 100 QAR per stamp
- SPA/CANA
- PNP fingerprints
- NBI
- Additional documents
--------------------------------Then finally, he submitted all of these to CEID on SEP 11 and he was able to get the PCC on SEP 17.

After getting the PCC, he was asked to go back to MOFA to have it stamped.
FEE: 100 QAR.
------------------------------
He sent the documents to me through DHL and he was advised that I will be receiving it within 3 days.
FEE: 360 QAR
Im having problem with the sundry information card. Im currently resuding in UAE, worked in qatar back in 2017 and left 2018. Uae and qatar have cut their diplomatic ties so theres no qatar embassy here anymore and i have just recently gone back to the philippines to take care of my fingerprint sundry. It is true that NBI asks for endorsement letter from US embassy which i dont have and impossible to secure one. Our immig lawyer advised us to secure all pcc where iv had residency for more than a year: philippines( nbi✅) uae( which i can secure on a later date since its only good for 3 months) qatar( which is becoming a pain in my butt)- i had no one in qatar to help me on securing pcc so our option is to get it done on qatar embassy in manila even if it takes 2 to 3 months , since i dont have an interview date yet we just want to be one step ahead. Apparently qatar embassy rejects my PNP sundry info(DFA authenticated) and they want the NBI sundry, and still the problem goes down to not having an endorsement letter from US before i can get the fingerprints done in NBI. We just dont know what to do now, on qatar website they did not mention any preference for original fingerprint attested( NBI vs PNP ) but it looks like that the qatar embassy in manila have preference (NBI). If we decide to go to doha qatar to file this pcc, will it matter to them if i hv nbi or pnp sundry? I have it (pnp sundry) attested by by DFA and planning to send it for authentication in qatar embassy ( if i decide to go to doha qatar).
I dont see any reply in this forum that qatar has preference on the fingerprint sundry info. Can anyone shed some light on this matter? We are desperate and want it to get it done asap. I dont want to go all the way to qatar to get refused because i have the PNP sundry card and not NBI
