if your bangs don't cover your eyes or most of your face you are good to go, I have bangs too and they didn't say anything about my passport pics!!!!
-
yes never send your originals, the originals you have to show on the day of your interview
-
wohooo Concatulations  now lean back and relax

I mostly met my friends thru work too and was invited over or they came to our house BUT it was not like back in germany
Some also use the church to meet some new people and friends or like mentioned before met alot of really nice people on MYSPACE.com
Try if you find some german people in your location, thats what I did and was suprised how many I found
-
mine back than they just put in the mailbox, no postman rang the doorbell so I asume you don't have to be at home unless they have changed it since 2002

That is such a BS!!!! these times will never come back because this sick person doesn't exist nomore. We get people from Pakistan, Turkey, Nigeria, Afghanistan, Kurdistan, Russia........ every day immigrating or seeking refuge, if Germany would have gone back to the Nazi times, I don't think they still would be here
we are NOT more Nazi then other Countries and you will always have SOME racists no matter where, yes we have some brainless juveniles that think it is cool to be a Nazi
there are also organisations like that in the states acording to the News, KKK abd others that worship the Hitler Cross
There are Racist organisations also in Great Britain so does that make all those Countries NAZI Countries?
NAZI times will NEVER Ever come back, so who ever wrote this Artikle is full of it

we are still working on my daughter. the Consul has now written a letter as far as I understood to the Bureau of Vital Statistics.
My daughters father has never done a thing for her so his reaction on this one really doesn't suprise me at all and if it shouldn't work out at all, I will sue him as soon as I am in the states

Good Luck today WACKEN can't wait to hear about how your interview went
we are still waiting for the approval of our I-130
-
oh I'm getting insane, just received Mail from the Consulate about my daughters claim of US Citizenship through her Father (Deadbead) South Carolina is sooooo strickt we can't get his Birth Certificate which is needed for the process. Now the Konsul will try to get it if that wont work than they can't issue my daughter the Passport even so they know she has the birthright on it and all papers proof it :0( then I would have to apply for a Visa for her
Great how are we supposed to do that? we already filed our immigration without her on it, does anybody know how to add a child after the papers are already turned in?

Thank you MayDas & Wacken, I will write them a Email the first week of July and hope we will get good News soon.
But then again why shouldn't we get good News my first marriage was a real marriage and I have tons of proof for that, we just didn't work out.
This Marriage we are already together and married since 6 years and have a child together and we are not criminals and I surrendered residency in the USA. never overstayed, never broke a law
But everybody worries with immigration stuff

Awesome, tell us how your interview went I probably have to wait and wait and wait for the I-130 to be approved longer since I already had a GC and surrenderd mine in 2005 plus it was a previous marriage.

I had the same Problem, my husband (USC) is here in Germany with me and doesn't have a job over there, his family wasn't able to sponsor us but some close family friends are. So you are able to file DCF if you have somebody with enough income to co-sponsor your husband and llike already posted before use your Dad's Address :0)

it went fine and the Officers have been very friendly in Frankfurt
We left Aschaffenburg close to 8am in the morning since our appointment was at 9:30am
we got into a traffic jam on the Autobahn but still made it to the Consulate by 9:15am. We got in line to obtain a Ticket and than in the other line for security check. Then we had to sit down and wait for our number to be called. meanwhile Thomas had to make some passport photos and we had a problem with change, the passport thingy only took change and the change machine was out of order but another very friendly couple gave us some change.
Our Number was called and we had to go upstairs to window 40. Gosh have we been nervouse LOL I don't even know why. The Officer was very friendly and even joked around a little bit, asking about Texas etc. and what made us get married in Waco TEXAS? We than had to go downstairs to pay the fee of $190 and to make a copy of my Divorce Judgement, we had to go upstairs to turn it in and had to go back downstairs to wait for our Number to be called again for Window 23 to turn in the Application for Immigrant Visa. That Lady was very friendly too and explained us the whole process, asked me some Questions, gave us some more forms and also asked when we plan on going to the US. We told her in September. She told us I could either make my medical on beginning of July or the same day I will get my Interview. They will Schedule my Interview as soon as I-130 is approved and I Faxed the Form that I am ready and have all Forms required. The Medical will cost 125 Euros and on the Interview day I have to pay the last Fee of $380.
Now we have to wait for the Documents of our Co-Sponsors and we are all ready
I'll keep you all updated!!!!

Hi all, I guess I will be #4 We have a Appointment in Frankfurt on Monday to file in person (Frankfurt) I'm doing DCF I-130 and hope it wont take tooooooo long with the new Law.
I used to live in the US and was a Greencard holder but surrendered Residency in Nov. 2005 to move back to Germany. (BIG MISTAKE) well now I have to do it all over again. I am a german citizen and my husband is american. We have a Co-Sponsor since my husband is also in Germany with us.
Difference between K3 and CR-1 Visa?
in IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Process & Procedures

I think you are better off with the CR1 (DCF) way instead of the K3 since AOS Fees are going to be rocket high starting July the 30.
The only thing that has changed with the DCF is that the Adam Walsh law came in effect but the time difference isn't to bad and you only would have to file removal of conditions in the states instead of AOS and removal of conditions.
