1. Oleksandra,

I'm sorry you have been waiting so long. The reason K-1 takes much less time is because its a non-immigrant visa. Less steps. No adjustment of status, etc. You chose a much longer route to be with your partner. K-1s are moved faster, like worker visas and such. Less to show, you know? Also you should be careful how you word some statements. You wrote...

"In both of this cases i guess they should have hire more people and especially those who is waiting for CR! don't make to wait longer then those who is making only a K1." Only a K-1? You could anger many people in love here. I personally dont understand why anyone would go with a CR-1 or K-3 visa. Takes much longer usually with more steps. Good luck. Wish you a speedy outcome

I agree with you about the remark of the K1 Visa!!!! but they have no other choice but to file the CR-1 or K-3 if the spouse is living overseas and they are in another country, so I don't understand why the process is taking such along time either but I guess because so many petitions are being filed daily???? The fastest process is the DCF if USCitizen and foreighn spouse live in the foreign spouse Country, wait until finals and being thru with everything is max of 6 month!!!!

  2. yes that is correct but also the Greencardholder always hast to file a change of address after a move until you are a US Citizen

    It is Form AR-11

(AR-11, Alien's Change of Address Card

This card is to be used by all aliens to report a change of address within ten days of such change. The collection of this information is required by Section 265 of the Immigration and Nationality Act (8 U.S.C. 1305). The data isused by U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services for statistical and record purposes and may be furnished to Federal, State, localand foreign law enforcement officials. Failure to report a change of address is punishable by fine or imprisonment and/or removal.)

most Alien's don't do it but especially having a pending petition AOS, removal of conditions etc. it would be smart to do it LOL

  3. yes I called the IV Section my Caseworker today and she told me that if you file I-130 in person and @ the same day put in the DS-230 PT I you will not get a EMail or a notification Letter that you are approved, they are simply waiting for your Fax that you are ready for the finals LOL, well we are Ready for the finals.

She asked me when we are planing to leave and I told her that I did send out the Fax today (OF 169????) and my husband is leaving September the 1st and we wanted to follow October the 1st, she then said to hold on a second, she is checking for a interview appointment date for me.

Got the interview August the 29th, Letter is being send out for the Interview appointment :dance::dance: as soon as she got the Fax on the table

Maybe it actually went that fast (if I would have send the Fax right away) because I already had a Greencard that I surrenderd in 2005?????

and here I was worried and asking why our I-130 is still pending

  4. talked to my caseworker in Frankfurt and was told I would NOT receive a notice becaus I already put in the DS 230 PT I and they was just waiting for my Fax that I am Ready to proceed  dumb me!!!! I didn't know that.

Well to make a long story short

    Interview appointment: August 29th :dance::dance:

Doctor August 12th  I hate needles

    Mood: excited :dance::dance:

Question: Does anybody know how to change the Address on the Papers? we have to change it to my Mother in laws Address until my husband find us a house, the address on the immigration papers was a friends that has now moved!!!

  5. I send the USCIS in Frankfurt a EMail asking how long we can expect the I-130 to be pending since we are already waiting 78 days and my husband is now leaving on September the 1st to go to the states and is a little worried that we won't make it till October plus the girls will be missing so much schooltime over there.

    I got a Reply Today

Your application was approved 5/23/07. Please contact the IV section at ext. 069-7535-8200 and talk to your case worker.

    USCIS FRANKFURT

I am speechless, why didn't I receive a EMail notification or a Letter with the Interview since they have all of that? what if I wouldn't have send them a EMail? I would have waited forever????

has anybody else had a Problem like that with being approved but not notified?????

  6. I am so speechless now. I just received a EMail from Frankfurt (reply to my EMail)

Your application was approved 5/23/07. Please contact the IV section at ext. 069-7535-8200 and talk to your case worker.

    USCIS FRANKFURT

So why in the world have I not received a Email or a letter in the mail????????? Awesome, and I was waiting and waiting and could have already be close to done!!!!! just imagine I would have not send the EMail to ask how long the I-130 is pending????????

  7. If you have a Sofa Stamp you are able to. My husband is a Civilian Employee and has a Sofa Stamp and we where able to file DCF

good thing is if you are Active Duty you will get all of your Fee's back from uncle Sam

not only active duties can get the fees back, my husband is civilian for the army, like yours, and my visa fees were included in the PCS reimbursement.....so I already got my money back from uncle Sam...plus the plan ticket :D

Awesome  well my husband didn't had any orders to Germany, he came over as a tourist and applied @AAFES so I guess we won't see any money back :crying: But oh well, that is fine.

Still haven't gotten a Reply on my EMail that I wrote to Frankfurt  so I guess they are taking there time on everything right now, if we would live in France I would already be booking my ticket since I would be done

Maydas how long did you wait for your Tax transcript to arrive? since I guess you got a APO Address too? the lady on the phone told us 10-15 days.

I will be Faxing of my OF-169 that I am ready and waiting. On August the 12th I will be going to the Frankfurt Doctor to have that one over with too.

  8. I had to listen to stuff like "are you still standing in line for bread?" or "do you live in houses"? and of course everything about the Hitler Times.

LOL wouldn't know a time people had to stand in line for Bread unless it was WAAAAAAY before my time  to the houses I won't comment and I can't hear anything about the Hitlertimes nomore because I wasn't born yet and my parents weren't born yet!!! even my 6 year old back then was confronted with Hitler in school by a classmate, that we would have a Naziflag flying in Germany and our Flag shows the Reichs Cross. Now I had to explain a 6 year old about Hitler

  9. I was just browsing thru some DCF postings and found one in France that made me wonder. Is it possible that France is working so much faster?
manuidf78

her or his I-130 was approved in 8 days and they filed in June????? how in the world was that possible to get it approved that fast with the Adam Walsh law? they even have the interview appointment already. I am so happy for them but wonder why it takes way longer everywhere else?

My hubby is flying to the states September the 1st to already start working and to rent a house etc. I just hope we don't have to wait till next year to join him because my girls would miss to much of the school year

By the way for everybody looking for cheap oneway tickets, try ABCtravel, we got a ticket for my hubby for $380 including all Taxes!!!!
