Just a quick post here, the office is open on Wednesday and Friday, interviews for AOS and Citizenship works as usual.

Hi Everyone,

My Journey is almost complete, had interview on the 13th and this morning both 130 and 485 status is case approved. i guess now have to wait for the approval letters and the physical card to arrive. BTW my 765 still shows fingerprint review complete and 131 case received. guess those will be closed some times.

This has been a bumpy ride and thanks everyone for the helping hands and inputs provided. those who are still waiting for EAD and/or Interview wish all of you best of luck.

Quick Update : Per new USCIS policy if the family based documentation does not contain I864 then the i485 will get denied and the beneficiary will be put to removal proceedings unless they have another in Status condition.

Came across two new cases in the last week like this. both got denied no NOID or RFE/RFIE.  i am trying to find the new guideline about the policy change.

I'm in Schaumburg. 

Yes, all RFE/RFIE response goes to Lee's Summit MO at NBC. when you get your interview it will absolutely be at Chicago office. The letter will however be going to come from NBC.

Wow Kansas MO, that's way too Far, where are you guys located anyway? 

i am from Chicago Suburbs so i got right in Chicago. if they asked me to drive 8 hrs then i would have actually requested a reschedule. 😃

The letter saying 2 pm on November 13th. Was trying to book parking in advance then saw office closed. Got a little worried 😊

Chicago scheduling interview in 90 days.. WoW.

Only thing is i got scheduled on a Wednesday afternoon and seems Chicago office is closed after 12 every Wednesday. Not sure what exactly i should do now.

Couldn't find anything on this so posting a new topic.

So I got scheduled for interview on a Wednesday afternoon, however, the USCIS Chicago Office seems to be closed after 12 pm every Wednesday. The office is also closed entire day on Friday as well. 

Wondering if anyone has this situation and had their interview on Wednesday afternoon or Friday?
