We received an RFE in December - asking for more proof of marriage (UGH - we originally sent utility statements, bank statements, vehicle registration, mortgage statements --- all showing joint names).   So we sent MORE utility statements,  several months of bank statements, vehicle registrations, multiple months of mortgage statements, and vacation photos.  All this was sent in early Feb 2021.   We just received confirmation the application was approved (FINALLY).   Greencard is on the way!

    That's awesome! Congrats!

My case have been sitting since Dec 2020 and whenever I called them to get escalated.

They only told me that someone from Tier 2 will call me.. and that will be 1month later I'm sure...

My case was transferred to NBC in Nov 2020 and after a few calls, they told me they are scheduling an interview.. That was in Dec 2020, I'm still waiting for instruction on what to do next.. :(

So it's good to hear some good news.. Congrats again!

@LynetteMNThank you, I hope you hear back from them soon.

I have the USCIS app installed on my phone and I used to check it everyday. 2 days before receiving it through mail, I got the notification that it was approved.

That's awesome @maaaaay!! so happy for you..

I received a notification earlier in Oct 2020 as well, stating that my card was being produce, but no notice in the mail though..

2 weeks later it says my case was being transferred, and I didn't received my card.. or any notification...

Thats why I'm asking.. but if you have a notice through mail in hand I think you are save..

    Congrats again! :)

    Hi @LynetteMN
I hope you hear back from them soon and receive your card.

I haven't heard from them for many months and my case was not transferred. But fortunately last week, I got an update on the case that said the card is being produced.

I think you will hear from them soon.

    Hi @maaaaay

Thank you!! That's great news for you! Congrats!

Did you receive the notice through mail?

I really hope we'll all hear something soon..

  4. Hi @Simply Canadian, @rasyidah, @maaaaay, @androidhk89

Our cases have pretty similar timelines... I applied in LIN and then got transferred to NBC..

I contacted the USCIS and ask them about my case and to escalate my case since Oct 2020 and waited for them to call me back with an answer finally in Dec 2020.. when they did call back they told me my case was cancelled for some reason so the case was reopened and now it's forwarded to local office for processing... I was like what???? Why would I do that??? No answers were provided...

Anyway fast forward till today, my status online is still case was reopen and was sent to local field office for decision to be made.. Status through call and email as of Jan 2021, it is in queue for interview, and to wait for the NOA though the mail...
And yess.. I'm still waiting... no NOA... no nothing... my 18-months extension is expiring end of June 2021 as well..

And nope, I have not apply for N400 yet...

I'm not sure what else to do... :(
Sorry, I wish I have a more constructive update.. but this is all I've got..
I do suggest to give them a call to follow up at least get a little idea on what's going on while waiting..

I received an update recently that my WAC case at CSC was transferred to NBC. The notice I got in the mail had the following message:

    • "We have completed a preliminary review of the application or petition listed above. As part of standard processing, we transferred your case to the USCIS office listed below that has your jurisdiction over your case. That office will notify you in writing when they make a decision on your case or if they need additional information."

I know others have had their case transferred to NBC, but had notices indicating it was transferred to speed up the process. Anyone else got the same message I did or knows what this means? Note that I have not filed for N400 though I've qualified.

Hi Elle, mine state the same.. no explanation, no instructions... I received the notice that it has been transferred to NBC as well at end of Oct 2020.
I started calling them beginning of Nov 2020 to ask more about our case and they mentioned that someone will call me back in within 48hours..

Finally someone called us back last week, telling us that our case have been forwarded to local office for interview to be arranged and a notice with instruction will be mailed to us for that arrangement.

Two days after the call, my status online got updated stating "We reopened your Form I-751, Petition to Remove Conditions on Residence, and are reconsidering our earlier decision."

I don't understand.. Our cases was not even close, so what are they reopening?

    Anyone going through the same?

Then just call them, they will tell you over the phone what exactly is going on

    Hi Savva,

We tried.. Called them last Thursday and managed to talk to someone.. they repeated what we already know and same as the online status.. no reason or explanation or what we should do next...

Told us that they forwarded the case to an officer and the officers will call us back with 48hours.. It's been 3 business days.. Tried calling them again today, and not successful.. the toll free number is so difficult to call through.. only able to talk to the AI... :(

You just gotta wait! The fact they transferred your case is a good sign!

    Hi savva,

I really hope everything will go well.. But I've been receiving contradicting updates on the status and I'm so confused by it..

Last month on Oct 13th they updated my online status stating that my card was being produced and will be mail out to me..

then 2 weeks later, no card received.. And the online status changed again, stating that the case has been transferred to another USCIS office and is under their jurisdiction.. so that really made me confused and frustrated.. :( I dont know where to get more details or what will happen next.. Its another waiting game..

  8. Hi everyone,

    Here's a brief timeline of my I-751 application;

File in Nebraska Service Center, with LIN Receipt Number.

    Nov 4th, 2019 - USCIS received case

    Feb 29th, 2020 - Fingerprints were taken.

Oct 13th, 2020 - Received notification online that new card was ordered

Oct 27th, 2020 - Case was transferred to another USCIS office.

Oct 28th, 2020 - Same notification as above. Case transferred to another USCIS office and they have jurisdiction over the case

                               - Received NOA in mail stating that the case has been transferred to NBC and they have jurisdiction over the case. No instruction whatsoever.

Nov 12th, 2020 - Called USCIS to ask about my case. Mentioned that case have been escalated and they will call me back.

Until now no answers, no direction of what to do... so frustrating...

Anyone is going through the same thing as well? Or had gone through the transfer?

Please share your experience with me.

    Thanks!

  9. Hi @Ansbekk
LOL.. Yeah, i know right.. I'm going to go crazy soon..

No, I haven't submit anything for naturalization yet.

I received another notification today, for the same update but different dates on it.. UGH so frustrating..
My husband said to wait for the NOA to come in the mail and then decide what to do next.. :(

Really happy for you @juliahabib! How many years on the card if you don't mind sharing?
