Had my interview today in Tampa and since they have large numbers they are now doing same day oaths which was a huge surprise.

    Filed on 17th April under 3 years/marriage.

Interview and Oath 15th - July.

They didn’t ask for anything other than my ID, PR card,  passport and SS number.

    Questions:

Name one of the original tribes in the US.

What ocean is on the West coast of US?

What is one of the two longest rivers?

What month do we vote for president?
Who signs bills to become laws?

What movement tried to end racial discrimination?

Congrats! Did they issue you your naturalization certificate the same day?

After being stuck on the "Case Is Ready To Be Scheduled For An Interview" forever, I filed my N-400 last October, and got called in for my naturalization interview late last month. I had my combo interview yesterday, and will be taking my oath today! It's been a journey for sure. In a way, not needing or having to travel during the pandemic made the long wait more bearable, but glad to be done. Good luck to those still waiting, it takes time but you will get there!

Congrats to you! We just received an online notification today stating that our I-751 interview has been scheduled. Filed N400 on the 8th of April, 2021 so we are guessing it's just going to be the I-751.

Hi, June 2019 I-751 filer here (SF, CA). My I-797 18-month ROC expires in Feb 2021.

Has anyone tried to get an I-551 stamp during Covid-times?

Do y'all think I can schedule an appt two months in advance of expiry, or do you recommend waiting to closer to my expiry date?  Anyone with experience of appointments in San Francisco?  I've been reading lots of horror stories about no appointments being available for I-551 stamps (due to Covid) unless it's an "emergency".

Any suggestions very welcome!  Thank you!

    My timeline:

    • 6/2019 Filed/received Form I-751, Petition to Remove Conditions on Residence / Received I-797 Notice of action 18 month extension.
    • 1/2020 I-751 Biometrics appt
    • 6/2020 N-400 Submitted / received
    • 8/2020 Your Form I-751, Petition to Remove Conditions on Residence, was transferred to another USCIS office.
    • 8/2020 I-751 Case Was Transferred And A New Office Has Jurisdiction (Lee's Summit, MO)
    • 2/2021 I-797 Notice of action 18 month extension expires

You are lucky, you've still got two months. My 18 months extension expires on the 24th of this month and I feel so troubled about it.

  4. I know everyone is anxious to get their Permanent Green Card, so am I. But at this stage, I think what we should be doing is to pray for God's protection on everyone (particularly the USCIS agents who are handling these cases) against this COVID-19, because if one officer falls sick or dies as a result of this virus, the files being handled by that person gets transferred to another person's table, which will ultimately cause an extended backlog. Consider so many people at the USCIS office falling sick, trust me, no case will be adjudicated for years. This virus is inevitable, so we need to start asking for God's protection, healing and mercy on everyone.
