GOD  IS MY SAVIOR ! Apparently my abuser move from the address that my lawyer put on Vawa form, the postal office didn't deliver the notice and return it to USCIS. My lawyer sent them a letter about his mistakes and updated the correct address!!! I will probably will get anytime soon the receipt notice. I was so afraid! But now I'm relaxed. I told my lawyer about his mistakes and ask money back, after some argument  he agreed to return 50% of my money and apologized on his mistakes.

Now im completely loosing my mind!! I saw what my lawyer wrote to uscis..

1. "other than the few things that are included in the case, there’s not very much available to show they lived together. "

2. "While documentation of the two of them together is somewhat sparse" - what the hell he is talking about?! I gave him email prove we paid the deposit, emails from the hoa office, policy insurance of the apartment, i gave him lease agreement on the second apartment we lived, testimony of my family that visit us. There is around the 1500 photos including wedding, daily, family photos, friends photos. 

He also didnt include screenshots from IG proofing my abuser uploads our photos. 

He made mistake in the day we were married( wrote 17 instead of the 7th) i think my case is going to be rejected 🙅 😭😭😭 i gave him so much things to prove all our relationship (including text between us talking about lunch or going somewhere) it's bad. Completely bad and I don't know what to do!! He messed up with my case and since there is no request to USCIS officer to request more evidence i think im in big problems. 

Please give me good and real advice what to do now? I asked before but didn't saw clear answer: can I send USCIS a letter that release my lawyer from my case and in the same time to asked them copy of what he send them?? I will not be able to fix it without knowing how he submit my case. What he included and what no( like our photos, lease agreement, emails, text msg, social media posts etc...)

Something is weird. I've been waiting for my receipt around the 8 weeks now. I email my lawyer and asked him to see copy of my file. And i was shocked!!!! He DIDNT included any of our photos. He put his address in my petition to receive USCIS letters (part 3 in the i360)  so i will get no letter at all! he didn't include a lot of evidence like lease agreements and insurance. I paid him more then 5K !!! Its crazy that he did bad work  he didn't send me how he really send the package.. he only send me link to dropbox folder and  all my documents were there. Please advise me what to do. How can I receive copy of what he really send to them? So i will be able to fix his mistakes!! And what i do about the notifications from USCIS how can i get them to change to my address the letters?? 

Hey fam, it's been almost 6 weeks now since I send my package but no recipe yet. What can i do? They received it 2 days after package was sent. (Ups confirmed )

Wow. So if you are filing the 360 from abroad- meaning you are NOT in the US right now there is no 485 used. When filing 360 abroad you file the 360 and once its approved it goes to NVC then Embassy where you interview. They take your passport and will print a visa in it. You use that to enter the US and once you enter you are a permanent resident. You get the actual greencard mailed to you at that point. There is also no waivers needed for VAWA as overstay is not considered for VAWA petitioners. You should not be paying for the 485 or a waiver.  Your attny does not seem to know anything about VAWA, specifically overseas filings. Consider removing them from your case and completing whats left on your own.

 

 

Ok I didn't knew it. I my contract he mentioned USCIS Fee after vawa approved... also, mentioned the waiver. To be honest , to hire him was biggest mistake but he just don't want to givyme copy of my case.. i will call other lawyer to see what can i do.

The 2000$ after vawa approved is only his fee.. without uscis fee.. this is other  extra 1000$ (Don't really knows how much USCIS fee)

i wanted to replace a lawyer long time ago but he refused to give me copy/ original case( including the original birth certificate that I told him we need to send copy not original) im hopeless. 😕

That been said..most people pay more than $3000 for the i360 to their attorneys💁 also for the i485 is this including the fees for the petition or just your attorney's filing fee? He charged me now 3000$ only for i-360 (filling from abroad) but after approval i will need to pay extra 2000$ (not included USCIS fee) its seems to me like he took all the money for himself ( I needed to pay notary 4 times around 50$ for signature so this was extra 200$ ) he also recently mentioned that if i will need waiver for overstay i will need to pay 5000$ more!! 

what do you think? I feel like this is crazy but im not really familiar with all this process..

my lawyer and i had agreement but recently he wants to charge me more money.

i already paid him 2,230$ i did agree to pay extra fee on translation (around the 18$ per page) but he wants to charge me extra on the shipping via Fedex as well!!! Around the 60$!! So basically he charge me total amount of 3000$ (this is only on i360 with  nothing more and after approval i will need to pay extra 2000$ to file i485 etc) i feel made, like he is taking advantage of my situation! 

He didnt do nothing!! I obtain by myself my abuser birth certificate, police clearance report from both home country and US, the translation was bad, like they use google translate, and i fix it! It is normal?!?  What to do? Its crazy!! He just drinking my money but not really did something to improve my case( didn't even guide me how to write my declaration or witness declaration)

It's hard for me to understand, you already send Vawa application to USCIS you didn't include psychological evolution?? I'm from Europe and didn't had any problems to find psychologist. Google VAWA evolution and you will find.

my therapist also did the same. She did 12 page also stating how many times I attended counseling prior to filing vawa .

Explain to them that you were abused mentally,physically and emotionally by your husband in USA and you need a psychological evaluation for VAWA(they can look it up themselves on the internet. ) any good and qualified psychologist should know what a mental evaluation is and what it should entail. 

What the psychological need to write in the evolution? Mine wrote the i have PTSD and depression, amounts of meeting, further treatments, medication I take and that i was abused emotionally, physically etc.. and that's it..

so my lawyer made a big mistake.. I asked him to send me all my case *before* he will file it. He decided to ignore my request and send USCIS my file and later on he send copy of this to me.

I cried so hard! He translated my declaration in the wrong way! Was nothing there as I wrote!! All the situations was not understanding at all! Example: I wrote there that my abuser called me name like stupid , little ####### etc.. lawyer wrote "stupid dog" etc.. 

How can i fix it? To send USCIS a letter? To explain to them? To send a new one??? Please advise me!! He didn't even waited to my psychological evolution and my doctor diagnosis (I received answers in PM for the last question I posted- thank you so much for it)

i recently did biopsy and during the test the doctor find Vulvodynia .. he said that this happened because the sexual abuse. 

He worte this down, Do you think i need to send it to USCIS now or to wait for RFE?
