The consulate officer can say you are recommended for approval at the interview, but approval of a visa is not official until the status has changed to "issued"........after the interview ALL visas go through administrative processing. Some cases and some countries require extended periods of AP. It could be a few days, weeks, months, or even more than a year.......Unfortunately, Pakistan is known for extended administrative processing.
