Mine was a he, wondered if it was the same person.   Obviously not. 

If you want to get your passport photos done in advance, you MIGHT get lucky and have the passport people available after the ceremony.   They don't have the facilities to take photos, so if they're there, and you have the form ready to go with pics, then you can be done the same day.

If not (and I hadn't got photos), I booked my appointment at the post office during the oath ceremony itself, went along 2 days later, paid for the slightly quicker processing, it turned up 11 days after that.

There is a passport office nearby, and they advise you to go there, but the post office was more convenient for me.

I've time booked off work for today to take care of the social security number.

Her name i think was e. Sandoval ( or something like that ). Was a woman and english was not first language. Even asked on details on if my wife or i had seperate holidays . Said my wife had been to 3 different places for work conferences and she wanted to know where they were and wrote them down and it even showed up on the page you sign to show all changes are correct.  Asked my wifes maiden name step children's bdays , how long lived at present address mortage or lease, list all other addresses previously lived in with my wife. Felt more like the original green card interview.  At the end she said i can't approve you at the moment,  she said i looked at yourfile quickly before the interview and it all looks good and i need to check it one more time this afternoon.  She said after i asked her about oath ceremony that i would get a letter in a week or so scheduling the oath ceremony.  So happy.  Have already filled out passport application form.

I have everything ready for passport. If i can do it on the day i will but i asked at my local office and they say no problem.. take about 2-3 weeks . Is it quicker if u apply at the ceremony? Also i have heard different things. Do they send original  naturalization certificate and a certified copy or just original? Did you get certified copies made before sending the original?
