Oh as of right now they are reviewing documents submitted on the 28th of July so you still have a few weeks to go you can also check the review date yourself on

    https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/us-visas/immigrate/the-immigrant-visa-process/collect-and-submit-forms-and-documents-to-the-nvc/step-6-submit-documents-to-the-nvc.html

@Khanman01 I would highly suggest to get them fix this issue. I am not sure if you can ask supervisor directly but just tell them that all docs have been accepted quite a while ago and have not received any confirmation email. They would then escalate it to the Supervisor. Admin processing is done after the interview.

    This is how it goes:

nvc accepts docs > confirmation email stating that case will now move to isl embassy(usually two weeks) > interview email.

@Khanman01 this happened to me and my friends as well. I never received a case completion email and had to call them. My first call they said “its under AP”, then i called again after a week, it seems that the right person picked up the phone. He was very helpful and escalated the issue the right supervisor. I received the case completion email in couple of days and a week later the interview date. He mentioned that their system has this glitch and they’ve been working on it to fix it. That was in april btw

Oh okay thanks alot for the information!!! So should i also try to speak with a supervisor or should i just wait it out?

Try to use a scanner than feeds the paper through and not a glassbed scanner. Glassbed scanners only scans 8x11 and smaller. The feeder will allow you to scan legal size documents. My hubby scanned our nikanama doing that and emailed it to me. The whole page came up in one scan.

Just be sure that there is no creases or folds. Anything that is cut off will result in resubmitting it again. Hope that helps!

Yes it does help alot but you know the translation document is on a huge paper its only cutting out the green borders on top and bottom but its not cutting any text or information and has your husband went to interview yet?

  5. Hello i am at the NVC stage and i have to submit the Urdu nikanama and its English translation to Ceac but the problem is both the Urdu nikanama and its English translation papers are really large they are not normal size paper so it’s really hard to scan without cutting out parts of the page in the scan which they will reject has anyone went thru this problem? And if so i need suggestions what I should do so i can upload these documents the interview will be at Islamabad Pakistan embassy thank you
