Yes, I actually received RFE for the missing I-944 form on December 31 which I sent and it was received by USCIS on January 25. Since then I haven't heard back from them. Sadly, also no biometrics appointment notice.

The NOA in the mail date is October 16. The local office Denver, CO.

09/25 - Package delivered 

10/07 - Credit card charged 

We did not submit the I-944 with the package, but we're preparing the documents so we can send it off as soon as we get the RFE. 

Update on our timeline: 

On Sunday (10/11) I received text messages with the receipt numbers. I have not received the NOA in the mail yet. 

We're happy to inform the credit card has been charged yesterday. It took less than two weeks from the day the package was delivered.  We are now waiting for the NOA.
