My husband and I arrived at 12:50 pm for our 1pm appointment. All you have to do is show up with your Biometric Appointment Letter, Green card, passport, drivers license, military id or any other state issued ids. We brought all of the ids just in case. They asked to see the appointment letter’s date and time, then they asked us to fill out a simple form with some Biometric info- height, weight, eye color ect. Then it was my husbands turn and they took fingerprints, a photo, and his signature. Afterward the place a Stamp on your Biometrics Appointment Letter. Now starts the fun waiting time! 😅

Is it possible to show up with the Appointment letter, Green Card, and Driver License. I lost my passport and have not got the new one yet.

    Hello guys,

I'm gonna change my 2 years to 10 years green card in this October

i know everyone have to be interviewed. However, I wanna know Did someone who received it without the interview?

    and,

I wanna know Me and my wife will be at the same interview room or different?

hope to see your reply soon

    Thanks,

    Hello from a Vietnamese applicant.

Note that not everyone will be interviewed, as long as you send them all the sufficient evidence you will not likely be interviewed. I guess usually they will separate the wife and husband in the interview if they suspect fraud, or they may even visit your home (it happens in my town, at least 2 cases that I know, they made surprise visit in the evening :(( ). Otherwise, just prepare all the sufficient evidence, and you'll be fine.

Congrats all who received NOA! What is the next status that should appear online on USCIS site? Now it’s: “we received the case, blablabla”.  Will we be able to see when a letter for fingerprints is mailed ( or waiver for fingerprints)?

I think that'll be the case, either scheduled appointment or waiver for biometric. I realize that it takes 3 weeks on average to receive the biometric appointment.

    Hello guys!

We just got back from the combo I-751/N-400 interview at the Houston field office. It was such a pleasant experience! The FO already had my I-751 as well as N-400 applications on her desk when she walked us to her office. She then briefly went thru the process of conducting a combo interview: I-751 first and N-400 after. I had the option to ask my husband out and do the N-400, but I told her it was fine if he was in the room.

The FO then ask my husband for my full name, DOB, and phone number. Lol, mt lokr husband didnt remember my phone number, but the FO was ok with that lol. Then we just talked about random stuff, my new job, and the house we are in the process of buying. I asked if she would like new evidence from us, but she said no, because whst we sent before was enough.

N-400 interview was followed, and it was as easy as it could be. She stopped at the 6th question I answered correctly and got me to read and write a sentense. Also asked me all thise yes/no questions you see in the N-400 form.

She said she couldnt make the decision for I-751 yet because she had to log in to the system at CSC, which took her a bit longer than the 25 mins we had, but I should expect to see the update before end of the day. She also gave me the oath ceremony instruction. Here in Houston, it is conducted once a month. Since I missed the July one, the next session will be in August 21st.

While I was chatting with her, I asked her if there were a lot of combo cases like mine. She said she saw at least one combo case a week, she had 3 this week, and she said if the law allowed you to file, file it. It would save you some time (in my case, about 7 months)

Phewww.... That was it. I got a status update on my N-400 case "Oath Ceremony will be scheduled" at 4:20pm and just now, I-751 new status "New Card is being produced." Everything from the start (I-485) to this day (I-751/N-400 combo) was good. Never had any problem exept for the long wait at the Houston office. The two FOs we interviewed with were professional, knowledgeable, and had great sense of humor. We felt no pressure and actually enjoyed talking to them.

Good luck to all of you on this citizenship journey. Mine ended today!

Wow, that's awesome. Congrats, from a Vietnamese filer from Mass
