  1. I am a November 2019 filer. I had my Naturalization Interview today 12/08 at USCIS Philadelphia Office. The interviewer was very nice. He asked me 6 questions, I answered all correctly. The last three questions were:

If the president can no longer serve....

Who is the current Chief Justice?

What are the two main political parties.

Then, he asked me to read "Which state has the most people" on the iPad and asked me to write "California has the most people".

After this he asked me questions about my address, employment to confirm all the information that I had on the form. Then he asked about my travel history and mentioned that he is seeing different information to what I have written on the N400 form. I confirmed with him all the places that I have been to and all that was on the form is correct. The officer was very nice and he told me not to worry as he also thinks that somehow the information that he is seeing isn't correct in his system.

Then the officer asked me a few yes/no questions and approved my application. Philadelphia isn't doing same day Oath Ceremony and he told me all the people who we are approving today will probably have their Oath Ceremony on December 22nd. My online status is now showing that "Oath Ceremony is schedule and we sent you the letter". I will check again tomorrow for the letter in the online account.

    Good Luck to everyone!

  3. Nebraska LIN1990X filer here. I applied for I751 in Nov 2018 and N400 in November 2019. Last update on I751 was on July 29th 2019 after Biometric Appointment. I contacted Ombudsman a few days ago, but never heard back from them. Today I got the notification that “New Card is being produced”. My 18 months extension letter is expiring next week.

Now hoping to get N400 approval soon. Good luck to everyone waiting.

Same thing here waiting biometrics show that it was completed on the myaccountDHS.gov and on the myuscis site it says case received. My patience is wearing out 😪😪😪

Same situation. I think Nebraska has slowed down again. I was eligible to apply for Naturalization on November 8th and applied right away while I-751 is still pending. There is no point in waiting as my status is still the same with extension letter.

I don't thing it will delay your N-400 if you apply now. It might delay the I-751, but you don't really care about it once you file for n-400. Two things could happen if you file for n-400. You might either get your I-751 approved while n-400 is pending or they will just put it on hold and adjust two cases when going for n-400 interview.

What is your local office, check the timeline for n-400.

Local office will be Philadelphia. Where and how can I check the timeline for N400 and I751 combo?

Me too plain done 26th and received date 29th but nothing since it’s really overwhelming like the wait is painful and I’m not interested in applying for citizenship until the i-751 is approved because it’s only slows things down.

Is it going to slow things down for I751 or N400 or both? I am eligible to apply for N400 on November 8th and I want to get the citizenship asap, but I am not sure if I should wait or apply right away.

  7. I am sorry if this question is already answered, but I need your advice. I am still waiting for my I-751 approval. I applied in November 2018 and my application is at Nebraska Service center with LIN1990 number. Biometrics done on July 26th. A lot of people with the same timeline have been approved already. I am eligible to apply for Citizenship on 8th of November. I don't want to delay the citizenship process as I want to become a citizen asap, but I am not sure if I should apply when my I-751 application is still pending.

In your experience, how did you see the N400 and I751 application affect the citizenship timelines? If I apply for N400 right away, is it going to further delay my I751 approval? What would be your advice for me to do right now?

  8. Did my biometrics on Friday, July 26th. The biometric appointment letter was the only letter I received after Extension/Receipt letter (I had to make a service request to get that btw). Today the case status changed for the first time since November:

    Fingerprint Review Was Completed

As of July 30, 2019, we completed our review of your fingerprints and are working on your Form I-751, Petition to Remove Conditions on Residence, Receipt Number LINXXXXXXXXXX, at our Nebraska Service Center location. We will let you know if we make a decision or need anything from you.

  9. I applied in Nov 2018. The case status online says that Case was received on November 13th. I didn't get the Letter initially, but got it after I called them and made a service request. This was in the first week of February. There was no update after that, then I called again to ask for biometrics, but they just sent the same extension letter again. No updates after that. My service center is LIN. Do you guys suggest to wait or take some action?

I have to apply for N400 in November 2019.
