now just awaiting to get our passports back
Awesome! Let us know when it arrives, I'd love to know how long it takes

It can be either. I used nz sized in my case though.
But tbh, they don't need the photos since we've uploaded it in our ceac portal. They just returned my photos last time. All we need is just 5 photos for the medicals.
Interesting, for my application it didn't ask me to upload photos online. I just ended up getting both NZ and US sized photos so I'll have no troubles on the day
-
Hey @vince88 another thing I was wondering do we need the US passport sized photos or NZ sized? On my emails from the consulate they ask for NZ sized but from the NVC and here - https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/us-visas/Supplements/Supplements_by_Post/ACK-Auckland.html it asks for the American ones

as soon as your case status is "Ready" on CEAC then you can e-mail them and ask to send the forms to you.
Got all my things from the consulate! How did your interview go?

That's awesome!! Congratulations for getting it...
Last time I emailed the consulate to send the forms but you need to check the status of your case first. They need to received the case from the NVC before they can send the forms. Normally it takes 1-2 days for the NVC to send the case to the consulate.
Ok perfect! I'll contact them next week if I haven't heard anything

Hi @HannahSF , at last I've got the IL just now. Things is moving now with Auckland. I reckon you'll get the IL as soon as your PD become current again.
I got my interview date! Oct 17th, super happy. Question, when did you get the medical forms from the consulate? My interview letter told me to book the appointment but the doctors office said I should receive some forms from the consulate first?

Is your online status shows "in transit" or still at NVC?
I'm so sorry you're still waiting, it's awful being so delayed. The end is in sight now, I'm really confident things will start moving again. I just checked and oddly enough it still says 'At NVC' perhaps that will update tomorrow

Still havent heard anything back from NVC. Interview still scheduled for islamabad even though we requested for montreal because i live in canada. Only 10days left. Dont know what to do
Honestly I would just fly over there for the interview, get it sorted and then it's just done

Despite the visa bulletin not yet being out I just got an interview date for EB3 ROW! Interview is Oct 17th Auckland Consulate, priority date was Oct 2018, CC June 3rd. This is a good sign for other EB3 ROW people
-
This wait is so frustrating, perhaps at this point it will come out tomorrow?

My friend's PD Oct 2018.
Mine May 2018
both eb2
what is your consulate. Montreal?
Oh nice! I definitely think you'll be current when the next VB is out, not too much waiting left. Mine is actually Auckland - New Zealand and I'm EB3, I had June 3rd CC and would have been booked for July but they had a backlog like Montreal and now I'm not current

Called NVC and said"you are closer" fingers crossed and waiting patiently.
Ugh talking to them is so frustrating. I hope it doesn't mean the final action date has moved but is still not current. On that note what's your priority date? Mine is Oct 2018.
Also Daniel2014 what's your friends priority date and visa category? EB2 or EB3? Also just wondering what's your priority date too?
Really hope we all get some good news next week

Yes. but Shenn was current last month when the IL received by @Shenn110 My friend is not current. Visa bulletin is also not published yet. But he received the IL today afternoon. Bt it is not for Montreal
Yeah that situation seems particularly odd, perhaps they made a mistake to be honest. Most likely we won't hear anything till the new bulletin is out and even then we might not hear till Oct

@shaik Can you please tell us the exact date you received IL? one of my friend got IL today. EB2 but not Montreal. His PD is not current and CC is July 2019. I just want to see the possibility of receiving an IL in next few days, if EB2 is current in Oct bulletin
Hey Daniel, it seems that happened for Shenn110 so it might be a possibility!
-
I'm getting really nervous about the Oct Visa Bulletin for us EB3 folk, *fingers crossed* we get some good news next week. I'm waiting on NZ Auckland interview but following this thread as been soooo helpful in terms of getting updates on EB2 and EB3 news so thanks everyone

@Daniel2014 my priority date is may 2017, so it has been current for some time now
Nice! May 2017 wasn't current on the August bulletin which is why this is great for all still waiting for their case to be current. It means there's a chance you can get an IL during the month the new bulletin that puts you current is released

There's still a possibility for your PD to be back to current on September and get the IL mid next month!! just keep optimistic....
A user said that she get her IL when the PD was current the following month so anything can happen
best of luck for both of us!!
Hey Vince! Any updates? Bulletin is out for Sep but I'm EB3 and still not current, was as expected though. Have my fingers crossed so tightly for being current in Oct

Where did you find the bulletin? Could you please send a link? The official website still shows coming soon.
Oh my gosh! Forgive me that was for 2018, sorry I was getting upset over nothing! Also funny that's what the Sep 2018 said and yet come Oct 2018 both EB2 and EB3 were current
-

Not yet. I think from October only we will get dates. Visa Bulletin for September is not published yet.
Why the visa Bulletin for September is not published yet?
The Bulletin is now published: This seems pretty disappointing "The implementation of the above mentioned dates will only be temporary and in October, the first month of fiscal year 2019, the final action dates will be returned to those established for August." With that said it seems EB2 and EB3 categories still won't be C in October

Hi HannahSF,
have you got any update from the Consulate/NVC regarding your IL? it seems there are some retrogression on the employment category for the month of August and could delay your IL if your PD is not current. Hopefully it can clears out on September.
Hey Vince88, yeah retrogression, the worst! I'm delayed now. I should be current again in Oct at the beginning of their fiscal year. Hoping they'll book my date in Oct for a Nov interview, Oct would obviously be much better but I'm doubtful that will happen. Congrats on CC! Hope they schedule you next month for a September interview! Keep me posted

Has anyone experienced visiting the US while waiting for their interview? Any issues? My lawyer said it should be ok, I just wondered if anyone had first hand experience
Anyone else waiting for an interview in Auckland?
in Australia and New Zealand
