The time to request an expedite would have been when the case arrived at the NVC.

Not missing a birthday isn't a reason to expedite.   The costs of maintaining two separate households can be, although pretty weak for ISL.

Well all the documents have been submitted, fees has been paid.

Why hasn’t your spouse visited you for your last 4 birthdays? That seems like it would have been the most logical and easier thing to do,  no? Rather than rely on the US government to bring you together for your birthday.

Cant disclose the reasons. Its a private thing.

Can't expedite F2A case - you'll get it when the PD is current. And since the country of beneficiary is Pakistan, highly unlikely any expedites will go through as you can expect a long AP.

    Which PD?

The visa bulletin mentions that the PD is current.

I did not get an approval, but it appears Nov 2017 filers are being worked on currently.

    My PD is 11/17/2017

    Case Status: Initial Review  (7/2/2019)

Case Status: Request for Evidence (RFE) (7/8/2019)

So it appears they are working/approving petitions up to Nov 2017. I hope this has been helpful to some.

By the way, does anyone know how long these RFE letters take to reach in the mail? I'm moving to a new apartment by Friday (7/12/2019) and I'm wondering if the letter will arrive in time before I move (crossing fingers).

    Wait for 30-45 days

Priority date is December 2018. But the beneficiary is not in USA. Can they still file for AOS since the final action date is current?

    I doubt that

My pd is feb 15 2018 and upgraded my case after naturalization in april 17 2019.

when should I expect my approval ? It’s been 2 months

    any suggestions?

Was your case transferred to some other service center?

  5. No. The case has to be approved first. Once you get the approval you can file AOS

HI All, since the final action date chart for F2A is current on july visa bulletin, what does that mean?

Does it mean people outside the us can apply for greencard without I130 being approved?

    Thank you
