    That's true. My wife holds an Indian passport, and I am quite certain it will not help. We are planning to travel to Chile, i just wish the i751 process was quicker 🥲, so she could user her GC to travel.

    I read on Reddit that a few people were denied entry to Mexico because their Green Card was expired and they didnt accept the extension letter. I also checked the websites of Nicaragua and Costa Rica, and they clearly state that they do not accept expired Green Cards or extension letters. . Have you tried it?

    Has anyone applied for a visa to a foreign country using their expired Green Card, extension letter, and foreign passport? If so how did it go? We are planning to apply for visas to several Central American countries, which are otherwise free with a valid Green Card
