    Hey guys,

I started my I-751 journey in Jan 2018 and my case was filed in CA center and I got a RFE and addressed it. After that case was transferred to NBC for interview. NBC sent my file to Indianapolis local office in Aug 2019. Its been 98 days i haven't heard anything back about interview date and I placed an inquiry and USCIS field office from Indianapolis sent a letter saying " case is under review". I am really frustrated and not sure for long i have to wait for interview. Does anyone got their interview dates beyond 3 months of waiting?  Thank you!!

Have you heard anything? My case just was transferred to NBC after RFE. I filed on March18.

    Hello guys,

Anybody still waiting for I751 approval or it s just me waiting? I feel all alone and sad here...😌 no more posts, no more approvals... It s been 20 months for me and still no news from USCIS. I sent my I751 application to CSC exactly 20 months and 2 days ago and I didn’t apply for N400 . Anybody in the same situation? If yes let s just start another group to keep each other encouraged, that would be so nice. Thanks guys!

I’m March 18 filer just got the REF. They ask for some of them that I already sent like affidavit, bank statement, life insurance. I’m confuse.

That's what I did the first time. The rep was not vert helpful but hopefully this does the trick. My understanding that you can schedule an infopass about 30 days from you expired letter.

You can call to schedule an infopass to get stamp on the passport 30 days before The end of 18 months extension from your green card expired. I just got stamp a month ago and my green card expired on Nov5.

I guess a lot of CSC applicants filed beginning of 2018 for ROC is still waiting as much as I can see on here. Meanwhile, cases filed in the end of 2018 and later are getting approved. Thought they are processing cases in the order they’re receiving them but I’m not sure about that any more.

Wondering, how many of early 2018 filers we have on here still waiting.

I’m march 2018 filer CSC. Going yo file case outside normal process time next month but it increase from 20.5 to 21.5 I don’t know what to do just waiting like crazy.

Thank you for all your help @Linxx really appreciate it i already texted my wife shes at work...to call and ask for infopass stamp appointment schedule. I guess it is safe to say my wife is not the nly one who is still pending after 18 month expiration? I really appreciate all the help @Nayda

Your wife are not alone! I’m in the same boat. I’m going to get passport stamp next week. And hope will hear something since close to maximum process time.

No problem. a lot of people are waiting a long time after 18-month extension letter, I read some guy had even two stamps in his passport.
about infopass: you have to call 1-800- number and get the representative. Then they connect you to the Tier2 officer (higher rank), or they call you back within 24-72 hours. The Tier2 officer checks out the reason you need an infopass, you explain it is the stamp I-551 because extension letter expired and your wife still didn’t get the green card approved. You wife needs to be with you during the call, or let her talk to the officer. They will schedule an appointment for your local office where you belong. You print out the scheduled appointment with the code, that paper gets you into the building.
You can’t call local office directly or walk-in. Only thru 1-800 number you can get an infopass.

About interview: most probably you will not have I-751 interview. They send the letter 2-3 weeks ahead if you do. I recommend checking status online and mailbox also.

i was abroad when they approved my I-751 and the card arrived to the mail. It happened exactly after 19 months from applying, and the maximum processing time was 19.5 months for California Service Center.

I just made appointment to get passport stamp next week. I’m on 19 month waiting after file I751 hope will get something soon. The CSC process time now increase to 20.5 months then I can send an inquire but hopefully will here something before. Thank you for sharing.

Sure thing. And don't worry about whether you don't get a combined interview. People make too much of a deal about that. It's relatively easy to manage, in my own experience. But just waiting and waiting for a decision on a low-priority petition is poor strategy, IMHO. You're in a much stronger position with a pending N-400, and we can help you navigate the administrative morass if it gets complicated down the line.

I think will wait until end of this month if nothing then filed N400. It’s about 19 months of waiting for i751.

    S

Filed at VSC, I filed in Feb 2018, did biometric in May 2018, extension letter August 2018, case transfer to NBC to be scheduled for interview letter received in August 26 2019, still waiting for the interview appointment letter. No Ref.

Am having a sleepless night, nervous and crazy, I have not filed for n400 yet.

Why interview. I don’t like any interview in my life. Have seen just few people got interviewed. Why me.

The painful part is, my mom is very sick and I have not seen her in 2 years, so we plan to buy our tickets in October to visit her in December. Thinking i751 will be over by September. What a bad luck. Am going crazy right now.

I feel your pain. I’m the same boat and feel unlucky. It’ll be 5th anniversaries next April but I’m still waiting for 10 years green card. Thinking about to apply N400 but worry this will make me more nervous. I read someone haven’t heard anything after interview. I don’t feel I’m the lucky one who get combo interview and all approve or N400 will speed up i751.
