  1. Hello guys,

I previously spoke to you guys here before my interview, under your suggestions, my interview went well. (Islamabad, Pakistan)

The lady on the counter saw all my papers and said that everything was complete, she kept my passport and said that I shall receive it within a couple of week,

I asked how many weeks in particular and she said 2 weeks,

Then I asked that do I have the visa approved? she said that some clearance is needed and I shall get my passport back by mail. She did not give me any colored paper either,

It happened on 21st of May 2019 and still there is not update from the embassy. Checking my case status on CEAC tracker says, "READY" ever since and it hasn't changed.

I even email the embassy about giving me any updates but I haven't received reply.

I don't know whats going on in there, it doesn't even say 'Administrative Progressing", I tried to call them but they don't pick up the phone.

Can someone here please give me any generalized info of what can I do?

    Thanks a lot

    Muneeb

  2. @mniceguy16, @Ann&James,

Thanks a lot for the information guys. My interview is over. It was successful. They didnt ask me much questions, just

    1. When our marriage took place? (the date)
    2. How long did she stay after marriage. (my wife stayed for 3 months, so she asked if all the ceremonies had been done, and I said Yes)
    3. How many times did she visit and when was the last visit.

Then they looked at the pictures I brought, it covered the whole duration of our marriage until now, ceremony pics, then different visits pics, with our child as well.

Then they asked for the other documents, for tax papers of the sponsor, they looked only at W2s and said that everything was complete.

They kept my passport and said that I will get it back in 2 weeks.

  3. Hello people,

I filed for spouse based immigration back in Jan, 2017. My interview is now scheduled. I am ready for the interview but there are some technical questions about which I might not have any reasonable answers so I seek your advise here.

I went to UK in 2008 on student visa and just before my visa ended, I left for Spain in 2011 with my friend and made an illegal entry. I lived there for 5 years, filed for work-based immigration which was later refused. According to the letter, I could either file for a new case or leave the country voluntarily. I left the country and came back to Pakistan where I got married. (arranged marriage in relatives) My spouse is green card holder, we have a daughter of 1.5 years with US nationality and she is pregnant again.

Now they could ask me about my entry and stay in Spain that why did I go there, was I aware of my illegal entry etc etc, I dont know if they will even ask about it.

I need your suggestions and guide about it please.

    Thanks.
