    It has been a long journey. I met my husband in 2008 and filed for him to come to the US in 2014. He arrived in 2015. There were many struggles, with culture differences, and the added stress of trying to complete the requirements for immigration. He was finally awarded with  citizenship  in October 2019. Interesting it was on the date of our 11th anniversary of meeting on line.

    I met others on visa Journey and have maintained friendships. Some of my new friends completed their journey, however most gave up. The distance and stress were too much for their relationships to survive. The K1 visa visa process is brutal.

    The main thing that made this possible is Visa Journey. We completed the process without a lawyer. The site provided all the assistance and support we needed.

    My husband was able to start school when he arrived and completed his requirements to be a nurse. He is working in a local hospital. Now we can continue our happily ever after.
